Shaoxing can be described as the most treasured small city in my heart

I thought Hangzhou was already beautiful until I went to Shaoxing. After visiting so many cities in Zhejiang, Shaoxing can be described as the most treasured small city in my heart. Shaoxing is not only the hometown of Lu Xun but also a quieter and more pleasant Jiangnan water town than Suzhou and Hangzhou 🌊 I stayed in Shaoxing for five days, and these are the places I think are most worth visiting in Shaoxing. 1️⃣ Fushan Park Very few tourists, a niche park known only to locals. Yuewangtai, Feiyilou, and cliff carvings are worth a visit. 2️⃣ Anchang Ancient Town One of the four ancient towns in Shaoxing, with a long river connecting the old streets on both sides, full of life 🎐 3️⃣ Xixiaolu A more worthwhile place to visit than Cangqiao Straight Street, with fewer people and a beautiful heart-shaped tree perfect for photos 🌳 4️⃣ Lanting My favorite place in Shaoxing, where Wang Xizhi's 'Lanting Xu' was born. Tianzhang Temple, Goose Pond, and Qushui Liushang are stunningly beautiful❗️ 5️⃣ Yangming's Hometown The hometown of Wang Yangming, known for its Chinese aesthetic architecture, every photo taken here is beautiful 📷 6️⃣ The Hometown of the Sage of Calligraphy The hometown of Wang Xizhi and Cai Yuanpei, with historical traces in the Ink Pond, Tishan Bridge, and Bifei Lane. 7️⃣ Jiemin Library A library named after Cai Yuanpei, with sculptures, wall scenes, and pools inside that look like a painting. 8️⃣ Pioneer Bookstore·Jianhu Store A newly opened store of Pioneer Bookstore in Shaoxing, overlooking the bookstore looks like a whale in Jianhu 🐳, quiet and beautiful. 9️⃣ Shaoxing Museum To get to know a city, start with its museum. The Shaoxing Museum is small but houses many rare cultural relics. Strolling through every corner of Shaoxing, with its small bridges and flowing water, Shaoxing is my ideal dream Jiangnan.
