Anchang Ancient Town, one of the four ancient towns in Shaoxing, is the hometown of the world's masters

In Shaoxing, Zhejiang, there is a historical and cultural town, which is a typical Jiangnan water town style and one of the four ancient towns in Shaoxing. The ancient town was first built in the Northern Song Dynasty, later destroyed by war, and rebuilt during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Most of the buildings seen in the ancient town today are from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. This is Anchang Ancient Town. Anchang Ancient Town is about 10 kilometers away from Xiaoshan International Airport. The streets here retain a historical appearance of three miles long, with rivers and streets running parallel, small bridges and flowing water, carrying rich cultural heritage and historical memories. Visitors can appreciate traditional specialty shops and the exquisite skills of traditional handicrafts. The scenery of Anchang Ancient Town, such as the overhanging eaves and stilted buildings, traditional residential houses, stone-paved alleys, various bridges, and small boats, forms a picturesque scene, known as the water town version of the 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival'. Anchang Ancient Town is also the hometown of masters. The saying goes, 'The world's masters come from Shaoxing, and Shaoxing's masters come from Anchang'. In Anchang Ancient Town, there are not only many former residences of masters but also a 'Master Museum', which was built on the basis of the former residence of Master Lou Xintian. The museum displays the life stories of many Shaoxing masters.
