Gouqi Island’s Mountain and Sea Wonders

After checking into our local guest house on Gouqi Island, it was time to go and explore! A coastal hiking route was recommended to us, a path that meandered from our guest house up to a hilltop that took us about an hour to make our way, leisurely, up to a stunning viewpoint where we could overlook The Aquatic Farm. You could easily just perch on the stone benches here to watch the sun set over this stunning landscape, but we actually continued our hike up to the very top of the hill. Up at the top, we had this incredible panoramic view of the island and of The Aquatic Farm from a further distance, and tucked behind a part of hilltop temple is where we sat to watch the sun set. If you're in need of a refreshment while up there, there is also a cute little coffee shop where all the KOLs flock to take photos in front of it's popular yellow walls.
