Gankeng Ancient Town-a good place to go on weekends

Last Sunday, my parents and I went to Gankeng Ancient Town in Shenzhen. Starting from Hong Kong, take the subway to Futian Port, then take Line 10 directly towards Shuangyong Street, and get off at Gankeng Station, which takes about 45 minutes. At Exit B, there is a shuttle bus that goes directly to the entrance of the ancient town for two yuan and takes about 10 minutes. Gankeng Ancient Town is a Hakka town with many antique buildings and many restaurants, such as KFC, Laowanhui, Naixue, etc. If you want to learn about the history of the ancient town, you can visit the museum; if you want to browse the bookstore, you can go to Cat's Sky City; if you want to take a movie, you can go to Twenty-Four Histories Academy. The night view is great. Stay at the Nanxiang Art Building Hotel for the night. It is located in the center of the town and is very convenient to go anywhere. Gankeng Ancient Town is suitable for a two-day and one-night tour. The daytime scenery and nighttime scenery have their own characteristics. It is a good place for a weekend vacation! #weekendtrip
