Shigatse Museum is not very popular, but it's worth a visit.

It's a bit off the beaten path and there were no people when we arrived. We almost thought it was closed. Fortunately, we persisted and found that the small two-story museum had a lot of content and was great value for money! It mainly explains the important history of Buddhism, especially the Sakya sect and other sects, and the important events in the evolution of politics and religion in the history of Shigatse, especially the friendship between the Yuan Dynasty and Tubo, some events of the Qing Dynasty, especially the counterattack of invasion by Fukang'an, the war between the British and Tibetans, and the main events of the liberation of Tibet after the founding of the People's Republic of China, which gave us a good lesson. We have a more concrete understanding of the historical development path of this region. We spent almost 2 hours there, and there were very few people, so it didn't feel very popular.
