It is said that the temple was built by King Java Yarman of the Khmer Empire for his mother, It was built as a Buddhist temple and later changed to a Hindu temple. 💡Khmer Empire: It was the most powerful empire that spanned the five countries of Southeast Asia (Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand) and had tremendous power. It is now Cambodia :) Most of the people in Cambodia are Khmer :) As the saying goes, "The trees are destroying the temple," the buildings were slightly cracked and dug in by the tall and huge trees, so the harmony of the natural tree roots and the stone architecture was really, really beautiful :) #Cambodia #Ta Prohm Temple
