Strolling along Songyang Old Street, it feels like going back to the good old days of childhood.

The second stop of the West Zhejiang trip is Songyang. Strolling along Songyang Old Street, I didn't expect any surprises at first. But after strolling around, I was attracted by its original local style. The old street buildings are mainly white walls, black tiles, and wooden structures, full of simple and elegant atmosphere. Most of the shops on both sides of the street are two stories high, with brick walls below and wooden structures above, showing typical Jiangnan characteristics. There are also many ancient steles, stone carvings and couplets on the ancient street, recording the history and culture of Songyang. Many of the shops on the old street are still the homes of locals, and many of the things they sell are closely related to work and life, such as hardware tools, farming tools, bamboo woven products, clothes and bedding, etc., which have a life atmosphere and suddenly pull the memory back to the 1970s. A small alley, from south to north, from east to west, every family is familiar, everyone knows each other, and the things they buy are different, which makes people feel at ease. The geographical characteristics of Songyang make Songyang mainly based on farming since ancient times, so the local farming tools also have advantages. In the competition with surrounding counties and cities, they stand out and are of high quality.
