We climbed the steep steps of the temple for a breathtaking view of the surrounding area, and caught a glimpse of the nearby Grand Palace and Wat Pho. At night, Wat Arun is illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere and making it a popular spot for a nighttime stroll. Overall, we feel that Wat Arun is a must-see attraction for anyone visiting Bangkok. Its intricate design, rich history, and stunning views make it a true gem of Thai culture and architecture. To get to Wat Arun, there are a few transportation options available: 1. Chao Phraya River Boat: We selected this option as it was one of the most scenic ways to reach Wat Arun by taking a boat along the Chao Phraya River. Visitors can take the river boat to pier number 8 (Tha Tien Pier) and then take a short ferry ride across the river to reach the temple. 2. Taxi or Tuk-tuk: It is most convenient to take a taxi or tuk-tuk to the temple. 3.
