Mount Tai Scenic Area, a AAAAA-level tourist attraction, is located at No. 45 Hongmen Road, Taishan District, Tai'an City, Shandong Province, covering an area of more than 400 square kilometers. Mount Tai is regarded as a great and sublime symbol of the Chinese nation. It is a block mountain formed by ancient gneiss, rising from the eastern edge of the North China Plain on the hills of Qilu, with the main peak reaching an altitude of 1545 meters. It is the foremost of the Five Sacred Mountains and is honored as 'the most revered of the Five'. The scenic spots and historical sites of Mount Tai are radiantly distributed around the main peak, blending natural and cultural landscapes. The mountain is massive, especially the southern slope, which is steep and imposing, encompassing the natural landscape features of being strange, dangerous, beautiful, secluded, profound, and vast. The layout of cultural landscapes focuses from the southwestern sacrificial site of Taicheng, Shoushan and Haolishan, to the Yuhuangding peak where heaven is told, forming a triple space of 'underworld', 'human world', and 'heaven'. Dai Temple is the main building on the central axis of Taicheng at the foot of the mountain, connected to Tongtian Street in the front and the Pan Road in the back, forming an integrated mountain city. From Emperor Qin, Emperor Wu of Han, Emperor Tang, Emperor Song, all the way to the Ming and Qing dynasties, emperors performed Fengshan sacrificial rites and literati left inscriptions, leaving behind a wealth of cultural relics and historical sites such as Dai Temple, Puzhao Temple, Bixia Temple, Jing Shiyu Inscriptions, Lingyan Temple, and scenic spots like Yuhuangding, Sun Observation Peak, Moon Observation Peak, Shiwo Songtao, Yingchoujian, Longtan Waterfall, as well as many ancient and famous trees.
