A solo journey! Mount Tai, here I come

Itinerary: Since I'm not young anymore, the trip is focused on comfortable travel, planned for three days. For climbing Mount Tai, it's necessary to book tickets online in advance. I booked one day ahead, which was enough, but it might be different during holidays. Arrived in Tai'an on the 17th, found a hotel near Wanda for convenience in dining. Departed for Mount Tai at 7 am on the 18th. For those with less physical strength, it's recommended to follow the second method described online: take a bus from Tianwai Village to Nantianmen, then climb from Nantianmen to Yuhuangding. It took me 2.5 hours to reach Nantianmen, which was manageable without reaching my limit. From Nantianmen to Yuhuangding, there's no difficulty. Just walk, take a leisurely stroll, take photos, and replenish food. You can basically tour the mountaintop in about an hour. To descend, take the Taohuayu cable car. Note that the Zhongtianmen cable car was under maintenance and temporarily closed. Also, since these days were not holidays, there was no queue for the Taohuayu cable car, so it was available upon arrival. Total time used: Left the hotel at 7 am, including ticket checking at Tianwai Village, boarded the bus at 7:35 am, half an hour to Zhongtianmen, started climbing at 8:00 am, reached Nantianmen by 10:30 am with regular stops, even with less physical strength, you could arrive by 11 am. Tour the mountaintop for an hour, then descend after 12 pm. Including the cable car and bus, arrived at the foot of Taohuayu by 1 pm. The total time spent was 6 hours, and it was possible to return in the afternoon. On the 19th, visited Dai Temple during the day and strolled through the night market in the evening. Dai Temple opens at 8 am, note that tickets need to be purchased on-site and are not combined with Mount Tai tickets. About 3 hours is completely sufficient for a relaxed visit to Dai Temple. Expenses: Online booking for the Tianwai Village bus and entrance ticket was 150 yuan. I didn't buy food on the way, just carried two bottles of water, four bags of milkshake, and two cookies. That was enough for the journey. Actually, buying food on the way is also fine, not too expensive. Red Bull was 10 yuan, not much more expensive than usual. Taohuayu cable car was 100 yuan, bus was 35 yuan. Dai Temple ticket was 20 yuan. The total cost for the scenic area was 300 yuan. Special forces who want to see the sunrise need to climb at night, and those who want to see the sunset need to stay overnight on the mountain, otherwise descending the mountain at night is indeed unbearable. Another way to climb the mountain, for your reference, is to take the Taohuayu bus first, then the cable car up the mountain, and take various photos. After all, climbing up the mountain doesn't consume physical strength, and you'll be in good spirits. Then descend from Zhongtianmen, if you have good physical strength you can walk all the way down to Hongmen, if not, take the bus from Zhongtianmen to Tianwai Village. Just be aware that descending is tough on the knees.
