The Sheraton Taiyuan Hotel opened its doors on January 3, 2024, marking the brand's debut in Shanxi and the first new hotel to open in Taiyuan at the start of 2024. With this opening, Sheraton's refreshed design concept has landed in Taiyuan, offering an ideal place to stay for business and leisure travelers visiting the city. 1. The hotel is located in the core development area of Taiyuan City - Xiaodian District's Longcheng Street, about 8 kilometers from Taiyuan High-speed Rail South Station and 10 kilometers from Taiyuan Wusu International Airport. Just 100 meters away is the Taiyuan City Metro Line 2, making it a very advantageous location with convenient transportation, suitable for both business trips and leisure travel; 2. The interior design is inspired by Shanxi's traditional culture and ancient architecture. The check-in backdrop in the lobby is an abstract art piece titled 'Connecting the World,' made with varying shades of rubies and crystal beads from Shanxi's rich mineral resources to form an abstract representation of Mount Tai, the foremost mountain under heaven. It reflects the entrepreneurial spirit of the hotel's owner, Shanxi Dongtai Energy Group, and promotes the innovative spirit of 'daring to lead the world' that Mount Tai embodies. This artistic installation showcases classic Jin merchant cultural elements, and similar artistic decorations can be seen throughout the hotel's public areas, restaurants, and guest rooms, revealing the charm and culture of Shanxi; 3. Connected to the lobby is the core space of Sheraton's new guest experience, &More by Sheraton Coffee Bar, which has a modern and fashionable atmosphere. It features a refreshed design with shared long tables (The Community Table), studios (The Studios), phone booths (The Booths), and combines a bar and coffee shop, creating a vibrant and welcoming open space where travelers can socialize or enjoy solitude, making it a favorite spot for business travelers; 4. In terms of dining options, in addition to the &More by Sheraton Coffee Bar, there is also the Chinese restaurant 'Yue Kitchen' and the all-day dining restaurant 'Food Time.' Additionally, the Sheraton Executive Club, a private space specially designed for Marriott Bonvoy Elite members and guests staying on the executive floors, is also in operation. Its uniquely designed Oval Bar not only showcases and provides cocktails and selected fine wines for guests, but also allows them to participate in mixing their own cocktails; 5.
