Great for a leisurely morning walk

Fukuoka Castle is located in Chūō-ku, in the centre of Fukuoka, on top of Fukusaki hill. It’s also known as Maizuru Castle or Seki Castle I stopped by Fukuoka Castle with intentions of just checking out. It happens that the Sakura was blooming and it was a festival going on! It was very busy with many people setting up to relax, food trucks everywhere and a stamp rally going on.
