Trip to Tbilisi, Georgia 🇬🇪

It was a short trip to Tbilisi, Georgia with family. We were absolutely captivated by its rich history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant culture 😍 The city’s unique mix of Eastern and Western influences, along with its warm, welcoming atmosphere, made for an unforgettable experience. We started our journey by exploring Tbilisi’s historic Old Town, where the blend of ancient architecture and charming streets instantly captured our attention 😍 The best time to visit is in the early morning when the light is soft and the streets are less crowded ✨ The Narikala Fortress, perched on a hill overlooking the city, offered panoramic views of Tbilisi and the Kura River, making it a perfect spot for photos 📸 The fortress, dating back to the 4th century, is a must-see for anyone visiting Tbilisi. After exploring the fortress, we wandered down to the picturesque Abanotubani district, famous for its sulfur baths 🧼 The Orbeliani Baths, with their distinctive blue tiles, provide a great backdrop for photos 📸 especially in the late afternoon when the light bathes the buildings in a warm glow ✨ 📍Narikala Fortress, Tbilisi, Georgia 📍Orbeliani Baths, 2/6 Abanotubani St, Tbilisi, Georgia We also visited Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi (Sameba), the largest cathedral ⛪️ in the Caucasus region. The cathedral’s impressive golden dome and the surrounding gardens provide amazing photo opportunities 📸 especially during sunrise or sunset when the city and mountains are bathed in golden light ✨ Afterward, we took a scenic walk along Rustaveli Avenue, the heart of the city, lined with theaters, museums, and cafes ☕️ We explored the Tbilisi Opera House and admired the neoclassical architecture of Freedom Square. We also headed to Mtatsminda Park on the hilltop above the city. The funicular ride up was an experience in itself, offering a chance to capture stunning views of Tbilisi from above. Once at the top, we visited the Mtatsminda Pantheon, where many notable Georgians are buried, and snapped photos 📸 of the Tbilisi TV Tower and the expansive cityscape below. 📍Holy Trinity Cathedral, Tbilisi, Georgia 📍Rustaveli Avenue, Tbilisi, Georgia 📍Mtatsminda Park Funicular, Tbilisi, Georgia We also ventured off the beaten path to explore some of Tbilisi’s more hidden gems 💎 We visited the Fabrika, a former Soviet sewing factory turned creative hub. The area is full of vibrant street art, cafes ☕️ and unique boutiques 🌹 making it a great place to snap photos of Tbilisi’s modern, artistic side. The industrial architecture and colorful murals provide a contrast to the city’s more traditional sights.
