Magnificent Kaiyuan Templein in Quanzhou

Kaiyuan Temple 开元寺 is one of the most important temples of the South East of China, located in the lively city of Quanzhou. It is considered as the largest Buddhist temple in Fujian province, as well as one of the few surviving Hindu temples in Mainland China... a testimony if the importance of the city of Quanzhou during the medieval global maritime trade.
