On the last day in Thailand, I went to the Grand Palace Got there before nine in the morning. It doesn't seem so hot today, and there's a bit of a breeze. The random Chinese-speaking guide we found at the entrance was decent, so we didn't just look at the architecture in a superficial way. Enthusiastic about taking photos and holding the umbrella, the guide asked for a 50🐷 tip on top of the 800🐷. The area isn't large; it only took an hour to walk around. But the dazzling gold is still somewhat visually stunning, especially the Jade Buddha.
