Wat Mahathat

Wat Mahathat is one of the most famous temples in Ayutthaya, Thailand, which was the capital of the Siamese kingdom from the 14th to the 18th centuries. It was built during the reign of King Ramesuan (1374–1395) and is considered a site of historical, architectural and spiritual significance. Today, Wat Mahathat is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a major tourist attraction for visitors to Ayutthaya.
