Visit York on a Day Trip

York is a city in northern Yorkshire, England. It is located between London and Edinburgh and just about 3 hours by train either way. York has a lot to see for a day trip, so definitely reserve 5-6 hours to walk around and enjoy a good lunch! For most people, the first thing to do when arriving to York by train is to walk the City Wall.
