Enchanting Tunis

Tunisia seems to be overlooked in favor for its more famous neighbor Morocco, nonetheless Tunisia and in particular it's capital Tunis is am enchanting city with both French and Arabic architecture blended together. Don't expect anything overtly fancy or developed in this city, in fact take it with more open eyes and see the beauty behind its more rough surface. A bit outside the city, you'll find the ruins of Carthage and bit further afield is the very picturesque village of Sidi Bou Said, which almost transports you to a village in Greece. Tunis is full of little hidden gems at prices that aren't at cut throat prices.
