272 colorful steps of Batu Caves!

Bath caves is located in Gombak, Selangor. The limestones forming the caves are more than 400 million years old. The cave housed a temple dedicated to lord Murugan and in 2018, the 272 steps haven been repainted colorfully. It takes about 20 minutes to climb all the steps to the top and be sure not to bring any food or even plastic bags as there are a lot of monkeys. These monkeys will snatch any plastic bag they see as they think these are food bags. The caves are open from 6am daily so be sure to visit early in the morning to avoid the scorching sun!
