Kite Capital of the World | Weifang Kite Museum

Weifang World Kite Museum is located at No. 66 Administrative Street, Kuiwen District, Weifang City, Shandong Province. It was officially completed and opened to the public on April 1, 1989. In November 2003, it was under the management of Weifang City Tourism Bureau. It is the first professional kite art museum in the country. The Weifang World Kite Museum covers a total area of 13,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 8,100 square meters. There are 12 exhibition halls of various sizes in the museum, with more than 1,300 kite exhibits, showing various kites from the "Luban Kite" in the 5th century BC to the present, and fully demonstrating the historical culture, modern culture, international culture and extended culture of kites.
