Hiking like the hobbits in Mt Oberon

Lord of the Ring filming location might have been mainly in New Zealand but even if they chose to film in it’s neighbouring country, Australia, they would find abundance of places just as good or maybe better in capturing the overall mood and essence of the movie. One such place is Mount Oberon Summit Walk in Wilsons Promontory National Park of South Gippsland. You can start from the Telegraph Saddle car park following the track of management vehicle to the top of the summit with bushes and tree branches in and out of the track creating beautiful pathway with stunning natural decoration along the way.
