Xijiang Miao Village

The Xijiang Miao Village is located near Kaili in Guizhou. 🚌 Staying in Kaili we took a local tourist bus from the central bus station to the village. It was 16RMB pp and took about an hour. 🏯🌄 The village was absolutely amazing. Entrance to the village was 110 RMB pp including a few shuttle bus trips to be used inside the village. After entering you will be greeted by traditional dancing and you can partake in tasting the traditional rice wine. 🏠 There are several accomodation options in the village. We stayed at #drum Tibetan Family Inn which has magnificent views of the entire village and excellent food. There are also many shops and restaurants in the village. 🎣 There are a few activities to do too. There's traditional dancing, fishing and horse riding to name a few. 🏅Overall a great place to visit. Although a little commercialised, the village maintains its traditional charm and offers superb photography opportunities.
