Day1 Hangzhou-Xinchang Carbohydrate Kingdom-Xiayan Beicun 📍First stop Carbohydrate Kingdom 🔹Search for 'Xinchang Carbohydrate Kingdom' in your navigation, the street is quite short, just a few hundred meters, but it gathers all kinds of local snacks from Xinchang. Taro dumplings🥟, spring pancakes, pot pulled noodles, steamed wontons, tofu pan-fried buns... Not many shops are open at noon, as this place mainly serves night snacks. . 📍Second stop Xiayan Beicun 🔸This place is known as the 'village above the clouds'☁️, as there is a high chance of seeing a sea of clouds here. It was drizzling 🌧️ when we went, so we could still see the mist in the afternoon, which was a different kind of beauty. 🔹At the entrance of the village, there's a 'Cliff Music Restaurant' with a great location and stylish design, where many people gather on the platform to take photos📷. 🔸There's also a popular coffee shop☕️ in the village called the 'Cici Coffee Museum', which we also checked out and it was pretty good. 🔹For dinner🥣, we chose 'Xinchang Local Cuisine Restaurant', which has great value for money, but you need to go early, or else you'll have to wait for a table. 🔸Hiking route: Xiayan Beicun-Chongyang Palace, 🐾3km one way, suitable for beginners and children, with great views and an easy path. . Day2 Xiayan Beicun-Xiaoquanzixun 🚗30min drive 📍Third stop Anshan Ancient Trail 🔹Long been interested in the 'Anshan Ancient Trail'🍃, you can drive to the Xiaoquanzixun village parking lot🅿️, but it's recommended to go early on holidays, or you might be restricted to parking 2-3km away from the village entrance. Don't ask why, it's from personal experience hhhhh. 🔸Fortunately, the road to Xiaoquanzixun village has beautiful scenery, and you can choose to walk along the wild paths near the tea gardens, which can be quite interesting. 🔹Along the way, there are many spots to go down to the stream, so bring enough tools for the kids to play in the water and catch fish, as they will have a blast. 🔸Xiaoquanzixun village doesn't have restaurants, just a few aunties selling dumplings, wontons, rice cakes, fried noodles, and a barbecue stall, so if you're bringing children, make sure to bring enough snacks. 🔹Hiking route: Xiaoquanzixun village-Anshan village, it had been raining the days before we went, so several paths were flooded, and our shoes got wet after just a few kilometers, so we decided to go back and focus on catching tadpoles😆 🔸It's said that a reservoir is going to be built on the ancient trail this year, and this hiking route may disappear, so if you're interested, hurry up and visit.
