Nalati Grassland

The Nalati Grassland is one of the most famous grasslands in Xinjiang and also one of the world's four great subalpine meadow vegetation areas. It is located on the northern slope of the Nalati Mountains, where the pastures, river valleys, peaks, deep gorges, and forests reflect each other's beauty. The grassland turns a lush green in summer, with wildflowers blooming and a comfortable climate... The best tourism season is from June to September, with a temperate continental highland grassland climate. After June each year, large herds of livestock move in, marking the golden season of the grassland, and various gatherings of the grassland people are often held here... It is recommended to self-drive for a day's activity, as the feeling of galloping on horseback across the grassland is amazing. Nearby attractions include the Ili Apricot Blossom Valley, Nalati Tourist Scenic Area, Huocheng Lavender Manor, Guozigou, and other spots, all of which offer great experiences.
