Yufuin Onsen, the hot spring of Japan's national preservation

Yufuin Onsen, also known as Yufuin Hot Springs, is located at the foot of Mount Yufu (also known as Mount Yufuji), which is 1584 meters above sea level, with an elevation of 500 meters. It is surrounded by Mount Yufu, Mount Amakusa, Mount Jodogahama, and Mount Tsurumi. Yufuin Onsen Town is one of the top hot spring resorts and famous summer resorts in Kyushu Island, with a spring water output ranking third in Japan. Take a direct bus from Oita Airport to Yufuin Onsen. Get off at Yufuin Station and leave your luggage at the "bathhouse" in front of the station. For 500 yen, it can be delivered to your hotel. After lightening your load, take a stroll down the streets of Yufuin.
