Yufuin in autumn is a delight. Getting There - By train or bus from Hakata, Kumamoto, Oita. Attractions - Plenty of sights to soak in. Hotels - Pick one with an onset that gives you a view of the Yufudanke. Food & Restaurants - Great food. But be mindful that most restaurants close early. So have your lunch at 12 noon. Shopping - Plenty of souvenirs to collect.
