Baisha Ancient Town ~ Snow Mountain Scenery

As an ancient town of the Naxi people, the entire town exudes ethnic charm. The town is not big, with only one relatively long main street, which can be explored in half a day. Parking is not easy, but taking a taxi is quite convenient, costing around 60 yuan for a round trip, so it's recommended to take a taxi. Visiting Baisha Ancient Town, you can't miss the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Many coffee shop rooftops offer views of the snow mountain, but you need to make a purchase in the shop to go up to the rooftop. The coffee is not very cost-effective, being quite expensive at 30-50 yuan, but don't worry too much about which one to choose, as they are all similar. We arrived quite early, around 10 am, and there weren't many people in line. However, it's frustrating when you encounter people who forget the time and keep taking photos, and you can also see tourists taking photos on other rooftops, as they are all the same height. The second floor of the coffee shop is a perfect spot to capture the words 'Baisha Ancient Town' and the snow mountain complementing each other, which looks really beautiful, but the backlighting means faces appear dark. Strolling through the ancient streets, the items for sale are similar to those in Dayan Ancient Town but more expensive. It's better just to look. For lunch, we had small pot rice noodles, a consistent Naxi flavor, spicy, salty, and oily. We asked the owner and didn't go to the next street. The owner told us to walk back to the archway, turn left, and about 100 meters away, there's an ancient bridge from which the snow mountain looks very beautiful. It was indeed a great spot, with many people taking travel photos, and pear blossoms too. Some shops even allow you to sit outside for staged photos, which is nice!
