Where is a good spot to take photos in the Yungang Grottoes?

The Yungang Grottoes in Datong are one of the world's cultural heritages, and the Buddhist sculptures inside are breathtaking. When you get to the Yungang Grottoes, everyone definitely wants to take a few check-in photos. Since the lighting inside the grottoes is quite dim, the outdoor statues become the main photo spots: Image 1: The pathway into the scenic area, flanked by six-tusked elephants supporting the Thousand Buddha Pagoda, makes for a very distinctive photo. Image 2: The largest, Cave 3's Maitreya, is bathed in natural light from the cave ceiling, which falls perfectly on the Buddha's body, providing excellent lighting and making it a great spot to take a photo high-fiving Maitreya Image 6: This is probably the most 'Instagrammable' Buddha statue, where photos of refusing to drink beverages, refusing to eat ice cream, and high-fiving the Buddha in celebration are all taken. Images 7.8: The open-air giant Buddha is a must-visit photo spot. Most people usually take a photo in front of it (Image 7), but actually, a better spot for photos is on the platform at the side of the Buddha statue, where you can capture a group photo showing devout worship to the Buddha, for a different effect.
