Stairway to Heaven (Tianmen Mountain)

I spent four days in Zhangjiajie and needed to dedicate one of those days to Tianmen mountain. It’s worth seeing, but I do need to caution that there are an insane number of people, so be prepared to wait hours in line to take the lift down. But the natural arch is unique and the views are nice. The winding roads up there are quite something too. Unfortunately the 999 steps were closed that day so everyone could only take the escalators up. #tianmenmountain #zhangjiajie #chinatravel
