Largo do Senado is a central landmark of the Historic Centre of Macau and an important part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is often considered the "heart" and symbol of Macau. Located in the central area of ​​the Macau Peninsula, it connects important historical buildings such as the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau Building, the Holy House of Mercy, and the General Post Office, and is a convergence point for several major roads. The plaza features a wave-shaped pavement with a signature black and white cobblestone wave pattern, exuding a Southern European charm. The central fountain is the visual focal point of the plaza, surrounded by benches and streetlights, creating a relaxing atmosphere.
