As my boat slowly approached Temple Lake Island, a refreshing blue and green instantly caught my eye. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the azure seawater sparkled, and the waves gently lapped against the coastal rocks, creating a pleasant sound. In the distance, mountains stretched endlessly, with lush green trees, contrasting with the blue sky, white clouds, and turquoise sea, forming a breathtaking picture. The moment I stepped onto Temple Lake Island, I felt a unique sense of peace and tranquility. The sea breeze gently brushed against my face, carrying a faint salty taste, making me feel exceptionally relaxed. Walking along the coastline, my feet sank into the soft and fine sand, occasionally picking up beautiful shells and sea snails. The waves kept coming and receding, as if telling the story of the sea. The island's architecture is unique, with white and blue as the main colors, complementing the color of the sea. The scattered houses, some traditional stone houses and some modern villas, stand quietly by the sea, giving a warm and romantic feeling. Walking on the island, you will find many art-filled shops and cafes. These shops are mostly decorated with exquisite taste, filled with various souvenirs and handicrafts. Stepping into a cafe, ordering a cup of strong coffee, sitting by the window, looking at the sea view outside, feeling the sea breeze blowing, at that moment, time seemed to stand still, everything was so beautiful. The natural scenery of Temple Lake Island is even more breathtaking. There are many beautiful attractions on the island, the most famous of which is Dongji Pavilion. Dongji Pavilion is located at the easternmost point of the island, the best place to watch the sunrise. To see the magnificent sunrise, I woke up early and walked along the winding mountain road to Dongji Pavilion. When I climbed to the top of Dongji Pavilion, the sky was still a faint fish belly white. Gradually, the eastern sky began to glow with a red hue, and then the sun slowly peeked out from the horizon. At that instant, the entire sea surface was dyed golden yellow, sparkling, breathtakingly beautiful. Watching this magnificent sunrise, my heart was filled with emotion and awe. In addition to Dongji Pavilion, the statue of Cai Bo Gong is another iconic landmark of Temple Lake Island. Cai Bo Gong's original name was Chen Cai Bo, a legendary figure on Temple Lake Island. It is said that he lit a bonfire on the island to guide passing ships, and eventually died tragically. To commemorate his heroic deeds, people erected a tall statue of Cai Bo Gong on the island. The statue faces the sea, holding a torch, as if guiding the direction for passing ships. Standing under the statue of Cai Bo Gong, looking at the boundless sea, I felt a great spiritual force. Continuing along the coastline, I came to the original stone beach. The reefs here are in various shapes, some like animals, some like figures, some like abstract art. The waves constantly hit the reefs, splashing white waves. On the original stone beach, you can give full play to your imagination and feel the magic of nature. The food on Temple Lake Island also makes me linger. The seafood here is very fresh and diverse. In a seafood restaurant on the island, I tasted various delicious seafood, such as crabs, shrimps, shellfish, etc. These seafood are delicious and unforgettable. In addition, there are some特色小吃 on the island, such as seafood noodles and laver cakes, which are also worth trying. During my days on Temple Lake Island, I also met many tourists from different places. We walked along the beach together, admired the beautiful scenery together, tasted delicious food together, and shared stories and joy of our journey together.
