Bajiaozhai in winter

Bajiaozhai, also known as Yuntai Mountain, is located at the junction of the Bajiaozhai scenic area in Datuo Village, Meixi Town, Ziyuan County, Guangxi, and Langshan Town, Xinning County, Hunan (Bajiaozhai is part of Ziyuan County on one side and Xinning County on the other, hence the names Xinning Bajiaozhai and Ziyuan Bajiaozhai). It lies on the northwest side of the longest range within the Wuling Mountains, the Yuecheng Ridge mountain range. The main peak is 818 meters above sea level, named for its eight protruding peaks.
