Had a great experience at Hyderabadi Kitchen. I already had their biryani before which was really amazing. This time we had butterc curry with parota and some extra rotis. No need to go far, it only takes 30 minutes by DART from Dublin! This little fishing village called Howth is super amazing! Originally I just wanted to come and enjoy the sea breeze, but it was the seal-infested season for me! 🌊 🦭 Cute role by the pier It’s really lucky to come in December and you’ll see a few seals “floating and sinking” by the dock as if greeting you, super healing! 😍 There are so many seagulls flying around the scene, the whole screen is as beautiful as a movie, I can't stop taking pictures! 📸 🐟Seafood Control Paradise How can you not eat when you come to a fishing village? There are many fresh fish shops and seafood restaurants by the pier, the oysters, salmon (salmon) are all just caught, fresh! The freshness is unmatched by the city center supermarket🤤. 🍟 Disappeared Fish and Chips Actually... I also bought a portion of the locally recommended fried fish and chips, I wanted to take a picture, but... because it was so good! My friend and I cleared the plate in a few seconds, and after eating we realized we hadn't taken any pictures😂! We passed through the gates and it was like everything softened, the air, the noise, even our thoughts. People sat under trees reading, tourists wandered without maps, and the flowerbeds looked like someone had taken their time planting joy. We laid in the grass near the pond, watching ducks shuffle along the edge. Someone nearby played guitar 🎸 badly, but sweetly and it just fit. You don’t need big plans here. My first ever Extreme Day Trip (solo) ✈️ and something I’d recommend to anyone who has the travel bug within them! Only 1 hours actual flight time from Luton Airport in the UK and you could be having breakfast in another country! 😍 I got one of the coaches from the airport into the city centre which was also very organised and well priced and set me up nicely for the day 👌🏼 I managed to cram in quite a bit whilst not overloading too much!: Jameson distillery tour Grafton Street Dublin Castle Christchurch Cathedral Dame Street Halfpenny Bridge (no photos - sorry!) Lunch was a quick stop at the famous Bambino’s Pizza - delicious 😋 and I encountered some funky graffiti along my walk - 25,000+ steps in a day 😮💨 And of course I ended the day with a couple of pints of Guinness at the world famous Temple Bar… the live music added to the already buzzing atmosphere 🕺🏻 There’s so much more to see and do, you could easily make another EDT out of the city! I will save the Guinness Storehouse tour for the next visit and aim to visit Connor McGregor’s pub The Black Forge Inn too for a different taste of local life! ✌🏼 #travel #dublin #ireland #edt #solo
