On a beautiful, clear autumn day, I went to Hanafuru, a garden area behind the roadside station in Eniwa!
Designed by 11 gardeners representing Hokkaido, it consists of seven theme gardens.

Road and River Station [Hana Road Eniwa]
This roadside station in Eniwa is always bustling.
It's surrounded by flowers and greenery and has lots of delicious things to eat!
It's a very satisfying spot with a Starbucks, a rice ball shop, a vegetable shop, and a cafe.
The pumpkin melon bread and pumpkin soft serve ice cream from the bakery inside, "Enipan," are especially delicious!

A popular Kamameshi restaurant in Eniwa.
A popular Kamameshi restaurant in Eniwa.
The seats are semi-private and spacious, which is really nice.
You order via a touch panel. Once you place your order, the dishes are brought out one after another. The speed is astonishingly fast, even the Kamameshi arrived quickly!
There are so many types of Kamameshi to choose from that it's hard to decide.
On the way to the restaurant, I asked the taxi driver if one Kamameshi per person would be okay, and he said it would be fine. However, since we ordered a variety of dishes, sharing might have been a better idea.
As expected from their specialty, it was delicious.
I was even tempted to buy some Kamameshi to take out.
Since the broth and condiments come with it, you can finish off with Ochazuke.
The sashimi was also delicious, even though it's not a seaside town, so I recommend it. However, I was a bit concerned that it came with dashi soy sauce (I prefer regular soy sauce for sashimi).
Although I didn't order them, the restaurant also had Chinese and Western dishes, even though it looked like a Japanese restaurant.

A bakery located inside the roadside station in Eniwa.
I don't usually eat bread, but I was happy to find this bakery so recommended.
Popular items include pumpkin pudding bread and apple bread.
It's twice as soft as I imagined! The fluffy dough feels so gentle and makes me happy.
I didn't try it, but apparently the bread was also fluffy.
In addition to bread, they also sell Hokkaido specialty (apparently) lemon cake and jam.
There is an eat-in corner, but it was still fluffy even when I ate it the next morning, so it's delicious even if you take it out.

[Hokkaido] I went to Eniwa Valley
Did you know that you can enjoy waterfalls if you go a little further from Lake Shikotsu? You can also enjoy autumn leaves in this area, where you can enjoy three waterfalls: Shiraogi Falls, Rarumanai Falls, and Sandan Falls.
Some waterfalls are easily accessible from the parking lot, while others require a bit of a walk, so it might be a good idea to wear comfortable shoes.
Some reviews said that the parking lot is small, but it's quite spacious, so don't worry.

The atmosphere of the greenery and waterfalls was nice, but the best time to visit is during the autumn leaves!
It's easy to get to from Sapporo, so it's a natural spot that you can visit for a day trip.

I bought tomato juice made from these tomatoes and drank it ♪ It was very fresh and delicious 👍️
There was also a beautiful garden that was carefully maintained,
I saw sheep, and the grounds were so large that I could play there all day ♪

There is no restaurant at Fairfield.
Many people buy food from the hotel's shop, roadside stations, or nearby stores and eat breakfast in the lobby. There is also a microwave.

When you enter from the entrance, there is a washroom, and beyond that is the bed.
The bathroom has only a shower. The shower and toilet are located in the same place as other Fairfields.
Drinks are available on top of the refrigerator, but they are also available on the lobby floor.
One thing, only some facilities have a shoe dryer on top of the slippers! This is great for snowy regions!
You can use it on rainy days, so try it out regardless of the season.

I bought a set of two in a cute drawstring bag and shared it with a friend.
It had a gentle scent and left my skin feeling great after washing.

In true Hokkaido fashion, the menu featured soup curry🍛
It was great to have a mechanism where pulling a string heats up the curry, allowing you to enjoy it piping hot. The Hokkaido-grown vegetables and the roasted pork from a branded pig were also very delicious🥰

Although the taxi driver told me that the kamameshi portions were not too large and could be finished by one person, it turned out to be more filling than expected 🥹

#thingstodo A few beautiful waterfalls. Excellent with autumn leaves. Multiple places to view from if there are a few other sightseers there at once.One of many beautiful natural sights in Hokkaido. This waterfall was part of our "romantic bus service". Apparently this is one of 3 waterfalls in the region. During this time of the year you can see the leaves turning yellow and red. The contrast with few remaining green trees makes this waterfall sight to behold. If you are lucky to have the whole day to explore the area. You should walk and explore all three waterfalls in nature. Be sure to get warm cloths as it can get cold during October.

and the parking lot is spacious and easy to park in.
The highlight of the farm is the pumpkin, a specialty of Eniwa!
In autumn, there are many lined up,
there is a wide variety of items, and it's fun to read the characteristics of each one and find your favorite one♪
In the roadside station, stylish miscellaneous goods, Hokkaido specialties, and pumpkin sweets are sold, so it's fun to take a look♪

Eniwa Valley: Shiraogi Falls
It is located on the way from Eniwa city to Lake Shikotsu. It is a place where you can feel a lot of negative ion power. There are toilets and vending machines in the summer. It was closed when we went, but there was also a soft serve ice cream corner in the log cabin hut. There were several scenic spots for photos, which were clearly marked. The path is well maintained, so it is easy to walk. I went in June, so there were not many bugs, but in July and August, it would be safer to bring bug repellent spray.
