This is a 5-star Intercontinental hotel on the main island of Tahiti, where the international airport is located. It is usually difficult to go to Bora Bora or Moorea right after arriving at the airport, so it is recommended to stay on the main island for about a night and then go. This hotel has many great things to see.

We stayed for two nights at the beginning and end of our trip to Tahiti, Borabora and Raiatea. It was ideal for a late night arrival as only 5 minutes from airport which was great especially with two tired kids. Our room was huge and immaculate. Very luxurious and comfortable. The grounds are stunning with a beautiful view of Moorea to welcome you to Tahiti. Great pool which the kids loved. Awesome breakfast buffet - the restaurant is right over the coral reef and you could see tropical fish while having breakfast. By the end of our trip we were tired of hotel food but there is a supermarket directly over the road which is fantastic. We returned to the Hilton for two nights before we left Tahiti which allowed us to check out the markets which are close by and relax a bit more. We splashed out and had a suite with two rooms and a kitchen which was expensive but worth it. We were a bit tired of hotel food by the end of our trip but there is a supermarket over the road which is fantastic and it was a lot lot cheaper than eating in the restaurant. If you are heading to one of the resorts it would be handy to stock up on some snacks as resort eating is delicious but very expensive. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. We stayed here for one night upon arriving in Papeete. The host picked us up at the airport and arranged a dinner for the three of us that evening. Early the next morning at 5, we gathered the rest of our family, and she prepared a breakfast for all five of us, including coffee, juice, local fruits, and an assortment of breads like delicious coconut bread. Ten days later, after our cruise, we returned and stayed from Thursday until our Saturday evening flight. We visited a grocery store to get breakfast items and supplies for sack lunches, then dined out each evening. She recommended some excellent restaurants and even a coconut ice cream spot, all of which were fantastic. The rooms were equipped with individual air conditioners and WiFi. We also had a kettle with coffee and a carafe of water for convenience. Throughout our stay, she communicated wonderfully and provided plenty of useful tips for our trip.

We spent two nights here before heading to Bora Bora. Despite arriving early, the staff warmly welcomed us right away. This is truly one of the finest resorts we've ever visited, only topped by our stay in Bora Bora. The food, bar, pool, and overall atmosphere were fantastic. We also rented a cabana at the pool for half a day, which was great. The open-air dinners we opted for were absolutely incredible. The landscaping is gorgeous, and I have no complaints about this resort. The prices were fair, and the views were breathtaking.

The front desk team was incredible! They were so accommodating when we arrived early for check-in around noon. They informed us about the waiting lounge and even offered a shower to freshen up while we waited. They also kindly held onto our luggage and delivered it to our room once it was ready. We chose to wait on the patio, enjoying drinks with a view of the pool and ocean. The rooms were spacious and tidy. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was clean, and the ocean-view patio was pleasant. A notable feature of the hotel was its easy access to a mall and grocery store—a quick 5-minute walk via skywalk. However, parking was a bit confusing, requiring a couple of trips to the car park office to get the gate open for us. My only real complaint was the bar staff's attitude. They seemed like they’d prefer to be elsewhere, which was disappointing. We received some incorrect drinks and experienced long waits at the swim-up bar.

The location is great, and the king room offers excellent views of the nearby area. The bathroom toiletries are good, and the bed is both big and comfortable. There are four restaurants to choose from. The pool is amazing. The hotel staff are kind, considerate, and efficient.

I even managed to walk from the hotel to the Papeete city center for some shopping, which is approximately a 20-minute walk each way. Additionally, it’s linked to the adjacent shopping mall, making it easy to pick up snacks at the local grocery store.

We obtained a day pass for this hotel last week prior to our flight to San Francisco. We both enjoyed a wonderful day and felt quite welcomed. The staff were all fantastic. The property was immaculate, well-kept, and organized. Our meal was delicious, and drinks met our expectations. The swimming pool and lagoon were lovely, and the loungers were comfortable. I managed to secure a good rate, possibly due to booking in person at the start of my trip for 3 weeks later. The spacious room was quiet and thoroughly comfortable. I was fortunate to have a sun terrace with loungers, larger than the standard balconies, offering a lovely ocean view. The bathroom was great with quality toiletries. The bed was large and cozy. Room lighting was fantastic. Hilton breakfasts are usually exceptional, and this one didn't disappoint with its amazing variety. Our return to Hilton Tahiti included a stay in a 1 King Bed Residence Suite. The suite was roomy, equipped with a kitchen, a large fridge, and laundry facilities (which we didn't utilize). We enjoyed a soothing ocean view from the small balcony, perfect for a breezy hangout. The comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep. Upon arrival, mosquitoes were present in the room, but the front desk quickly resolved it by providing mosquito spray. The floors weren't very clean, and the white bathroom tiles easily became dirty from tracking in dirt—this was rather annoying. Our visit was too brief to bother requesting housekeeping. The location is ideal for a quick stay near Papeete Airport, plus there's a mall with Carrefour and several food outlets accessible via a bridge, which is very handy. Overall, Hilton Tahiti is a decent choice for short visits, particularly if you want a spacious suite and proximity to the airport, though cleanliness needs attention.

By the time I noticed the perk, we were checking out to catch our shuttle to the airport for Bora Bora.

Some guests have noted mosquito issues in rooms and around the hotel, but we were fortunate as there was no rainfall during our visit; I only spotted a single mosquito (definitely not a problem for us).
