Hakuba Japan ⛷️ best skiing town in Japan

If you wanna ski or snowboard in Japan, Hakuba is one of the best towns you should stay. It has at least 7 snow resorts and we managed to get our Epic Pass from Vail resorts, so we were able to get accessed to most of the resorts. ⛷️ we went to Hakuba at early Jan 2023, which was the first season that Japan announced to open to foreigner visitors since Covid. The runs there were super groomed, facility was amazing and well designed. I would recommend to ski at least once in Japan for the best experience

A great getaway to nature

Very nice hotel with onsen. Great facilities included. Room is spacious with a mini living room which doubles up as a place to put tatami. Walkable to Hakuba Village for a wide variety of cuisine and mexican food. Got to try hakuba beer too! breakfast is awesome with a wide variety of food. Salad section is amazing!! They also have great onsen eggs. Different types of bread that looked delicious. Would visit again in the future

A natural wonder pond in Nagano. With its beautiful nature, Happo Pond is famous. In the summer, when the sky is clear and the water is clear, we will see the most beautiful view. It can be said that we can see the Japan Alps reflected in the clear water like a mirror. Even though the journey is tiring, if you see this view, it is worth it. A well-known ski and snowboarding resort with slopes for every level, this place may not be as popular with foreigners as Niseko, but it remains a popular resort for the locals 🏂⛷ A must- go for ski and snow-boarding fans as this place is muchore affordable than Niseko! Hakuba is also fairly accessible with a Shinkansen to Nagano and then a direct bus up the mountain 🥳 Worried about not speaking Japanese? No worries! Many foreigners from Western speaking countries work here and you’ll find more Australians or Americans than locals working the slopes 😉 #skiadventure

In Onsenkyo of Omachi, Hakuba has a ski resort in winter and an Alps climbing route in summer. Inside Onsenkyo you can find TOMAMU Hoshino Resort. Not only picturesque Alps but also rural experience of pit furnace is here for you. The house in the shape of ptarmigan looks very distinctive.

|I Saw the Golden Mountain in Nagano: Hakuba Village.🏔️Hakuba is best known for its ski resorts, as it was one of the venues for the 1998 Winter Olympics. 🏠It's not snow season yet, so I stayed at a guesthouse in the village, where I could see the morning sun shining on the snow-capped mountains. 🚗There is a free bus from JR Hakuba Station to [Hakuba Iwatake], and then you can take a cable car to Mt. Iwatake (1,289 m), where you can ride a mountain bike at the top. 🥖The New York coffee shop [THE CITY BAKERY] has also opened a store at the top of the mountain, with outdoor seating overlooking the Northern Alps. The coffee shop has a glass-enclosed observation deck where you can take pictures, and there are a lot of people, especially on weekends when there are lines of tourists taking pictures. There is also a swing (for a fee) facing the mountains next to the coffee shop. 🍁This season, you can take pictures of the famous three-stage autumn leaves at the observation deck, with snow on the top of the mountain🏔️, autumn leaves on the mountainside🍁, and green trees at the foot of the mountain🍃. I like apples, I like Nagano.

In recent years, I think Hakuba Village has become quite prosperous. With the arrival of winter, the number of foreigners increases, and there are also many domestic tourists. Especially, Echoland has an exotic atmosphere. In the cafe 'Morika' located there, they serve 'Apple Pizza' made with apples from Nagano Prefecture. The scent of cinnamon, the tartness of the cheese and apples, and the sweetness of the apples made for a just-right flavor. It's not particularly related, but it reminded me of the pineapple pizza I ate at DisneySea a long time ago. lol The Apple Pizza seems to be a winter-only item, but when I visited in spring, they were still serving it. Hakuba Village is not only recommended for a winter visit when you can also see the cherry blossoms, making it a recommended spot for spring as well.

I love this small family type of onsen hotel! It’s more like ryokan to me! The staff and manager are very nice and friendly! The service is superb! We booked the room With private onsen and we love the private onsen much! The room equipped with everything we need and everything provided is of good quality! The location is also convenient and just about 3 minutes walk from hakuba happo bus terminal. The dinner and breakfast are also wonderful! Overall, we love this onsen ryokan and everything is perfect! #hakubahifumi #privateonsen
