If you're planning a trip to Hakuba, I highly recommend this accommodation! It's very new and extremely clean. If you visit during the snowy season, it would be absolutely magical. I went there last November, and the price was around 7,000 THB for an entire chalet. We stayed as a group of six, and the chalet had three bedrooms. It was very comfortable and fully equipped with everything you need—TV, refrigerator, washing machine, kitchen utensils, electric stove, microwave, and everything was brand new. It was absolutely perfect! This place operates on a self-check-in system. The owner will send you a code, so you can arrive at any time, making it super convenient. Traveling here is easiest if you rent a car, as it might be a bit far from the train station.

For this trip, we rented a car and drove from Tokyo to Fuji, Hakuba, Kamikochi, Karuizawa, Fujinomiya, and back to Tokyo. It took us 11 days. Day 1: Arrived in Tokyo around noon, checked into our hotel, and in the evening explored around Tokyo Station. Day 2: We planned to go to Hakuba, but it rained, so we drove to Fuji first, visiting Makaino Farm, as the weather forecast said it would be sunny. Then we drove to Hakuba in the evening to stay overnight. Day 3: Hakuba. We were very lucky; the weather was perfectly clear. We spent the whole day exploring Hakuba, visiting Hakuba Iwatake Mountain Resort, Oide Park, and Snow Peak Hakuba, before heading to Matsumoto for the night. Day 4: Kamikochi and Narai-juku. Stay another night in Matsumoto. Day 5: Matsumoto Castle and Momiji Lake, then drive to Karuizawa. Visit Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza. Stay overnight in Karuizawa. Day 6: Explore Karuizawa town and Kumoba Pond. Drive to Shimizu and stay overnight. Day 7: Maruko-chan Land and visit Gotemba Outlet. Day 8: Kawaguchi-ko and Yamanaka-ko. Stay overnight in Kawaguchi-ko. Day 9: Explore the area around Mount Fuji. Yagizaki Park is highly recommended. Then drive to Tokyo and return the rental car. Oide Park (Oide Park Observation Deck), Hakuba City, Nagano Prefecture This is an incredibly healing place. It's stunningly beautiful, like heaven! I don't know how to describe it, you just have to go. Photos don't do it justice. It's also less crowded. You have to drive yourself. The restaurant opens twice a day: 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM. However, during peak season, it may close earlier. The location is quite remote, so driving is recommended. Search Google Maps for "Sambokuri ~Natural Japanese Delicious ~" and you'll find it right away. The menu offers both sets and a la carte dishes, using high-quality, fresh ingredients. Set meals cost around 1,000–2,000 yen. If you're looking for something light, there's a drink and dessert set for around 800 yen. This small but lovely restaurant has a warm, homey Japanese atmosphere. Perfect for those visiting Hakuba looking for a local, non-touristy spot. It's truly delicious and a great value.

If you arrive late, the lines can be very long, which can be a real hassle. If you're traveling in a group, it's recommended to split tasks. For example, one person will queue for the cable car, while the other team will buy tickets. This will save you a lot of time. Alternatively, if you can prepare, it's best to buy your tickets online in advance.
