A top-notch hotel in the heart of Waikiki Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Waikiki Beach Accommodation Review For my stay in Waikiki, I wanted a location that was convenient for both beach and city exploration, so I chose Sheraton Princess Kaiulani. It turned out to be incredibly convenient. As the address suggests, it’s located along Kaiulani Avenue, right in the center of Waikiki. The guest rooms had a resort-like feel, were simple, and very clean. Even during a trip where you spend most of your time outdoors, it’s comforting to return to a clean and relaxing space. One of the highlights of Kaiulani is its outdoor pool, which is accessible both in the morning and evening. While Waikiki’s ocean is fun, there are days when you just want a quick dip or avoid dealing with sand, so having a pool is a great option. The pool is open from around 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. It’s great to take a light swim during the quiet morning hours or cool down in the evening. The convenience of the pool is definitely a plus. Additionally, for those who prefer relaxing by the poolside, cabanas are available for use. 🏝 The room came with a lanai (balcony). Most of the rooms at Sheraton Princess Kaiulani feature a lanai (balcony). You can enjoy the ocean, cityscape, and Waikiki views while feeling the fresh air, making it perfect for morning coffee or a relaxing evening. The hotel consists of multiple buildings (wings), and this time, I stayed in the renovated tower building! Pool-view rooms are popular and tend to fill up quickly. While many people first think of Waikiki or Lanikai Beach, this spot is so special that locals call it a "hidden gem." After visiting the Halona Blowhole Lookout, you can head down to this small beach. The path down the stairs is a bit steep, but the sight of the emerald sea instantly washes away any fatigue. The beach itself is not very large, but the waves are quite strong while the water remains shallow, making it perfect for swimming. Playing in the waves is so much fun, and the surrounding cliffs and rocks create a scene that feels like stepping into a movie. In fact, this location is famous for being featured in films like *Pearl Harbor* and *From Here to Eternity.* Another highlight you can't miss is the photo spot! There's a small cave on one side of the beach that's a must for capturing in photos. Depending on the angle of the light, the atmosphere changes, and when the blue sea and the cave are framed together, you get a picture-perfect shot. ⛔️ However, a word of caution: avoid entering the water when the waves are rough. When I go to Hawaii, my motto is to splurge while saving money! ✨ ① When staying at a hotel, use points or pay to earn hotel points (Marriott). If you use points to stay, you can splurge while you're there. Even if you pay, you'll earn a lot of points, which you can use toward your next trip. I feel like it's more cost-effective to book a Hawaii trip here than with a package deal. ② For short-distance travel, Uber is the only option. I happened to find a taxi waiting at the hotel, so I took one. It was expensive. What would have cost $60 would have been $30 with Uber. Don't take a taxi, under any circumstances. ③ Make the most of happy hour! 🍺 During your stay, it's a good idea to have dinner between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM. You can get cheap beer here! 🍻 #TravelAdvice

When visiting Hawaii (Honolulu), you absolutely cannot miss Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial. This place is not just a page in history books but a tangible mark left by war. Walking into the memorial, the pristine white structure spans over the sunken USS Arizona, allowing visitors to clearly see the underwater wreckage. The atmosphere is solemn and reverent. The ship's hull still leaks oil to this day, known as the "Tears of Arizona," symbolizing an everlasting memory. The memorial wall is engraved with the names of the fallen soldiers, evoking a deep sense of the weight of life and the preciousness of peace. During the visit, you can also learn about the historical background and impact of the Pearl Harbor attack through the exhibition hall. This is not just a tourist attraction but a place that reminds the world of the cruelty of war and the importance of peace. I stayed at the Halekulani's sister hotel, which is new, beautiful, and relatively affordable, yet little-known. 🌺 I learned about Halepuna after watching YouTuber Sayo Tabi's stay video. 👓❣️ I was considering staying at the Halekulani, but I had the impression that it was expensive all year round due to its popularity, so I chose Halepuna this time. ✈️ In the end, I'm so glad I chose Halepuna. 🤙 ☑ The ocean view room is spectacular. ⇒ It's not cheap, but I think it's reasonable for a hotel in Hawaii! ☑ It opened in 2019, so it's very clean. The hotel itself is incredibly clean. The rooms are also incredibly clean, so I recommend it. ◎ ☑ Infinity Pool It has a stunning infinity pool. It's also great that it's never overcrowded! ☑ Halekulani Bakery Their famously delicious bakery is to die for. This hotel has nothing but great benefits. But it's surprising how little it's known! When it comes to acai bowls in Honolulu, Hawaii, Nalu is incredibly popular. Loved by both locals and Japanese tourists alike, Nalu is a must-visit café for many when they travel to Hawaii. Known for its healthy menu, it's perfect for those who want to enjoy delicious and nutritious meals while in Hawaii. Their acai bowls are, of course, delicious, but what makes them unique is the availability of smaller-sized bowls. Most acai bowls in Hawaii are large enough to share, so having a smaller option like at Nalu is a pleasant surprise. I'm sure there are many people traveling to Hawaii who are visiting Aulani for the first time.❤️ I also went to Aulani, a place I'd always wanted to visit, and I managed to get into Makahiki without a reservation.👏👏 You can make reservations online in advance, but when I tried, it was already fully booked and I couldn't reserve breakfast...💦 This time, I wasn't staying at Aulani, but rather went on an optional tour, and the optional tour driver told me a secret trick.◎ That is... There are cancellations on the day, so you can ask at Makahiki on the day if you want to make a reservation on the waiting list! !! This is something that only locals know.😭 I made a reservation on the waiting list, even though I didn't expect it to work out...! At the time, they didn't tell me whether I would be able to enter, so I waited and luckily I was able to get in.🥺❤️ And I even got the terrace seat I'd been longing for!! The indoor seating was randomly assigned, but I was shown to a terrace seat, which was even luckier! An acai bowl is a must-have on any Hawaii trip! 🫐 There are so many locations, it can be hard to decide, but one thing I'd like to recommend is Bogart's in Monsarrat. 🌺 I went there around 2 PM on a weekday and was able to get in without a line! Monsarrat is relatively easy to get to from Waikiki by bus or taxi. ◎ Please check it out! ☑︎Bogart's Acai Bowl x 2 ☑︎Papa's Kimchi Fried Rice ☑︎Drinks x 2 The total came to about ¥9,000. 💰 Acai bowls are relatively expensive, about ¥3,500, but they're so filling and satisfying that they're worth the price! I ordered one for each person, but they're large, so if you're sharing with 2-3 people, I think one is enough! After enjoying an acai bowl, you'll probably crave something salty. ✨ For those times, I recommend kimchi fried rice. 🥣 Although it's called fried rice, it's actually what we call fried rice in Japan, so it's delicious and easy to eat! The portions are quite large, so I recommend sharing. The cobalt-blue ocean and Waikiki Beach spread out below made me think, "This view alone makes the trip to Hawaii worthwhile." 🌴 Hanauma Bay If you love snorkeling, Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve is a must-visit. In the clear, transparent waters, you can see colorful tropical fish and coral up close, making the underwater world feel like a giant aquarium. It’s easy for beginners to enjoy, making it popular among family travelers. 🌺 Polynesian Cultural Center Hawaii isn’t just about the ocean; it’s a place where diverse Polynesian cultures coexist. At the cultural center, I experienced traditional dances, music, and crafts from islands like Hawaii, Samoa, and Tahiti.
