As soon as I saw this church⛪️, the song "Aurora" by Angela Zhang popped into my head. Who else gets it? Jakarta Cathedral💓 A very classic 19th-century Neo-Gothic building! When we went in, there was a mass happening. We didn’t know… the staff actually just let us in directly. Seeing everyone praying inside made us even more nervous😭 But seeing hundreds of people praying at the same time for the first time🙏 was truly amazing. After the mass ended, seeing everyone taking photos made us feel comfortable enough to take a few shots ourselves. The architecture is beautiful! I recommend spending a few hours to check it out. And the star of the show... their incredible roll cake! 🍰 I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the FLUFFIEST I've ever tasted. It was like cutting into a sweet, jiggly cloud! So light, so airy, and not too sweet. An absolute must-try! Have you been yet? You need to run, don't walk! 🏃♀️

OMG, where do I even begin? Jakarta is a true paradise for food lovers! From the humble yet mighty tempeh and the comforting nasi bakul, to the fiery kick of sambal and the perfectly smoky ayam bakar... every single bite was a gastronomic adventure. The flavors are just explosive! A huge shoutout to Remboelan – the experience was phenomenal and comes with my highest recommendation! I just got back and I'm already missing the food so much. Jakarta, you have my heart... and my stomach! ❤️
