I've compiled a large calendar of cherry blossoms by city and province, but I'll say it right away: nature is capricious, and everything depends on the weather. For example, in Shanghai, plum trees and even roses are already in full bloom, and the cherry blossoms are about to bloom. So, if you're planning a spring trip to China, save this: 📍Yunnan 📅Period: late February – mid-March Spring arrives here earlier than anywhere else. Yunnan is on my list as the most beautiful province in China, and spring never ends there; something is always blooming (even in winter). Kunming (the capital of Yunnan Province) has cherry blossoms found here: 🌸 Cuihu Park (翠湖公园) 🌸 Yuan Tongshan Park (圆通山) Due to the mild climate in this province, the blossoms begin early, very soon. 📍Guizhou 📅Period: March 10–25 🌸Location: Pingba Garden (平坝) This is the largest cherry blossom viewing spot in the world! It's hard to imagine 2.4 million cherry blossoms in 70 square kilometers. This is a tulip field that has just recently opened, and it's incredibly popular with visitors. The gardens are absolutely stunning, especially since it's currently spring in China. Many cities are showcasing tulip displays to add vibrant colors and beauty to their surroundings. If you're a photography enthusiast and have a layover in Kunming, this is a must-visit destination. 1. Take Metro Line 4 to Meizicun Station, Exit B, and then bike for another 8 minutes. 2. Walk to the colorful flower sea area of Duonan (located opposite the main entrance of the Duonan Wetland Park, where parking is available).

The architecture is stunning, with a beautiful, serene, clean, and well-organized exterior. A highlight is the octagonal pavilion in the middle of a pond. #winterescape Chongqing known for its warm, humid weather turns into a paradise in winter ❄️ ! Here is what we discovered in our 10 days exploration in Chongqing! First 3 days of exploration-we booked a private car 🚙/driver together with a tour guide on ctrip. Everything was seamless as the guide booked all the required entrance tickets for us. Day 1-They arranged and brought us to visit the magnificent Dazu Rocks Carvings during the day. It was a beautiful blend of history and nature! In the evening, we visited Hongyadong to see the ecstatic night lights-not to be missed! Day 2-We set off early to visit the Three Natural Bridges. Abundance of fresh air and nature-it was a perfect start for the day! Next we visited the Fairy Mountain Forest Park. The entire park transformed into a magical winter wonderland ⛄️! We were not expecting to see snow or at least not that much snow in Chongqing! It was so pretty as the entire park was blanketed with white snow! When we got back to the city at night, we had a mouth-watering hotpot! A must-try in Chongqing! Ended the dinner with a bowl of mango shaved ice🍧 ! Day 3-We visited Jiefangbei pedestrian street, Liziba and also Hongyadong again to see the day scenery. We were amazed at how we entered buildings on one level but exits on a different level from the other side! Another place not to be missed is Shibati! We were given some time to shop around this area and we found a very interesting stall that sells qingdao beer. There’s varied flavour of beer and prices fluctuates like the stock exchange! In the evening, we boarded the Three Gorges 4 days 3 nights Century Cruise 🛥️ at Chaotianmen wharf. This is where the car/driver and guide services ended. Day 4 to 7-Adventures on The Three Gorges Century Cruise! Feel free to check out my moments post about my cruise experience on my account! End of day 7, at Yichang where the ship docked, we returned to Chongqing on a high-speed rail 🚄 and checked into Westin in the Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street. Day 8-Walked to the food stalls in the pedestrian streets and did some shopping in the local departmental stores where most shop owners are wholesalers themselves. You can be sure to find some good bargains there! We also managed to catch the biggest drone show 🌌 in front of Raffles City, just above the fork of the rivers. Note:Be sure to check the schedule for the drone show, usually on Saturdays only. Day 9-We took local subway line 2 🚃 to visit Liziba and exited the station this time. True to its nickname, "the world's most scenic toilet," the view is absolutely stunning. While it might feel a bit awkward at first, this quirky feature is a must-see, and everyone takes a photo here. 😂 📍 Relaxing at Tiger Bucks You can't miss the cleverly named café, Tiger Bucks. Here's my itinerary. ♥️ I started in Lijiang. I booked a bus. It departed from the south gate of Lijiang. This bus went to Tina Kezan, the middle tiger gorge. The bus to Tina Kezan provided luggage transfers to the Tina Kezan bus stop. 💙 The Tiger Tiger Gorge trek goes from Nasi Kezan to Tea Kezan, then Zhongdu Kezan to Tina Kezan. If you start from Nasi Kezan, you'll walk the 28-Bend Trail. I skipped the 28-Bend Trail and started from Tea Kezan, stayed one night at Zhongdu Kezan, and then went to Tina Kezan the next day. 💛 I got off at Shanghu Kezan and saw the tiger statue and the canyon. It's a must-visit. Seeing the valley up close was truly breathtaking!! It was truly fantastic. ♥️The bus driver introduced a bus to Chamaeokjan. I was able to take that bus to Chamaeokjan. 💙I had lunch at Chamaeokjan. I was so happy they served Korean food. And it was delicious. 💛After filling my stomach, I walked along the road. The scenery of Haba Seol Mountain was so beautiful that I kept walking and taking in the scenery. I was truly moved that I could walk such a beautiful road! ♥️After taking my time and enjoying the scenery, it took about three hours to reach Jungdo Guesthouse. I checked in at the hotel and went to Jungdo Guesthouse to have a cup of coffee and relax, while taking in the stunning scenery. 💙I had dinner at Chamaeokjan and rested well at the hotel. Of course, the scenery here was also amazing. 💛The next day arrived. I walked to Tina Guesthouse. As expected, the stunning scenery was breathtaking. However, the path down to Tina Guesthouse was more slippery than I expected! I recommend bringing trekking shoes or hiking boots. 💕We arrived at Tina Guesthouse. We had lunch here and took a bus from the bus stop to Shangri-La. ♥️The Tiger Leaping Gorge trek was truly fantastic and deeply moving!! It's not too strenuous and offers truly stunning scenery! I highly recommend it!! 💛If you're short on time or don't feel like trekking, I recommend the Chama Guesthouse -> Jungdo Guesthouse route. It's a flat path, and you can even hail a car from Jungdo Guesthouse to take you down.😉
