Thrilling activity , honestly the best , The craziest activity I have ever tried , you got to walk with the Lion and pet them , but honestly it’s scary and terrifying, you got your tour guide who shares tips and advices, at first I almost fainted but later on , I enjoyed , these Lions aren’t tamed or used for circus, they kept them in their habitat, the tour cost was 75$

"I never met a sunset I didn't like."
Sunset cruise in Livingstone the best so far , the activity costed me 750 Kwacha, you can get all kind of drink you want, there is a band on board and they offer snacks too, it is inclusive in the price you paid , so it’s worth the price and the view is breathtaking, adds on that you can spot elephants and hippos , birds and so on , it’s kind like a safari combine with cruising

New hotel just opened in Livingstone, Zambia by the Zambezi River
Excellent brand new hotel, opened in January 2023, by the Zambezi River in Livingstone, Zambia. It is so new it is not listed on Trip.com yet. Very nice new hotel with the standard amenities. The stand out is probably the proximity to the Victoria Falls and sunset cruise right at the hotel rooms' door step.
There are a lot of conventional activities one could do in Livingstone, Zambia, go to the Victoria Falls, safari game drive, etc. Small town vibe, an excellent relaxing place. #newhotels #livingstone #zambia #africa
Victoria Falls - World's Largest Waterfall 🌏
Victoria Falls is the world greatest sheet of falling water. It is 1 of the world's 7 Natural Wonders which is found in Africa. The Falls is so big that it can be seen from 2 counties: Zambia and Zimbabwe. 🇿🇲🇿🇼
I got the the privilege to visit Victoria Falls in 2021. I went with my girlfriend and we had an amazing time. Despite going during the dry season, we still got to see a large amount of water.
There's so much to see! My favourite part was going to the boiling point. It was quite a long walk down but once we reached - we had such an incredible view. They were quite a lot of activities to do at the boiling point such as water rafting, canoeing and having a clear view of tourists and locals bungee jump from a nearby bridge. ❤
If you're a foodie, you'll also enjoy the restaurants near the falls. They have a mixture of western and local foods. I highly recommend trying Nshima at the Zambian side of the falls. Nshima is a Zambian dish which is made from maize. 😁
I won't get into much detail because I don't want to provide any spoilers but be assured that youll have a great time if you visit Victoria Falls. You'll get to see the largest waterfall in the world and it's a great escape from the noisy world that most of us are used to. 🥺🙏

Rafting the Mighty Zambezi from Livingstone
After spending time exploring Livingstone and the surrounding area, we headed out to the mighty Zambezi. The Zambezi, The fourth largest river in Africa and one of the most spectacular. we spent two days floating above the Victoria Falls while viewing an abundance of wildlife including elephants that nearly came into our camp. After portaging the spectacular falls we hiked down to boiling pot. From boiling pot we spent seven days on the Zambezi river. One of the most incredible experiences as the Batoka Gorge carves through the ancient basalt rock. Jolly Boys Hostel is the perfect place to base your Zambezi trip from.

The Livingstone Museum -Zambia
It is an iconic structure built many years ago along the famous Musiotunya Road.It is the largest and oldest museum near Victoria falls. The museum has exhibits of artifacts related to local history and prehistory, including photographs, musical instruments, and possessions of David Livingstone, the explorer and missionary. It holds an impressive collection of early-human artifacts and that of David Livingstone. The collection has not been updated in many years. Very interesting for its content and context.

Zimbabwe Day 1 Victoria Falls City 1: Victoria Falls
【1】Victoria Falls (Zimbabwean side)
Duration: 2h
At the entrance of the Victoria Falls scenic area on the Zimbabwean side, there is a guide map (P2), which shows from left to right the Devil's Falls, Main Falls, Horseshoe Falls (and the adjacent Rainbow Falls), and the Eastern Falls. The first three sets of falls are viewed from Zimbabwe, while the Eastern Falls are viewed from Zambia.
The Main Falls and the Horseshoe Falls are separated by Livingstone Island, where David Livingstone discovered the Victoria Falls. There are swimming pools on both sides of Livingstone Island, which can be accessed from the Zambian side when the upstream flow is calm. However, they are currently not open as it is not the dry season yet.
Upon exiting the scenic area, we saw many African long-tailed monkeys (P3).
There are a total of 17 viewing platforms in the scenic area, all close to the falls. Rainbows appeared and disappeared along the way; many sections were wet from the spray of the falls, making it easy to get drenched.
Continuing upwards from the fork in the road not far ahead, we reached viewing platforms 2 (P4) and 1 (P5). From here, you can see the Devil's Falls on the left, which is the most powerful waterfall in Victoria Falls. It is said that what we see now is a quarter of the water volume during the high water season. Platform 2 is the only one in the scenic area that requires descending steps. Near platform 1, there is also a statue of Livingstone (P6). Walking further up from platform 1, you can see the upstream of the Devil's Falls (P7).
After visiting these two platforms, we returned to the fork and proceeded to the right side of the map. From platform 3 (P8), you can view the Devil's Falls from another angle and see a double rainbow. The view from platform 4 is similar to that from platform 3. The mist at platform 5 was too thick, reducing visibility.
Platforms 6 and 7 (P9) offer similar views, allowing you to see the Main Falls from the left. Platforms 8 (P1), 9 (P10), and 10 (P11) face the Main Falls directly and also offer views of Livingstone Island to the right of the Main Falls. The mist at platform 11 was also thick, leading to low visibility. Platform 12 (P12) faces Livingstone Island almost directly.
Platform 13 is a better viewing spot, with relatively less mist, allowing views of the Horseshoe Falls opposite (P13) and a larger arc of the rainbow (P14).
Platforms 14-17 are not clearly marked. Continuing from platform 13, you can reach a group of rocks marked as a 'dangerous point'. This is the furthest right you can walk, from where you can see the Rainbow Falls, the Eastern Falls on the Zambian side, the viewing platforms in Zambia, and the gorge where the waters converge (P15). Moving further down the map, you can get a clearer view of the confluence of the rivers and the bottom of the falls (P16). Continuing downwards, you can see the Victoria Falls Bridge, which serves as the border between the two countries (P17), and a bungee jumping spot. Many sightseeing helicopters can be seen in the sky above.
Returning along the same path, after passing platform 13, you can take a forest path (P18) downhill back to the entrance of the scenic area.
Livingstone | Move into the zoo
🙊 Early in the morning, the sunlight streams through the floor-to-ceiling windows into the Avani Victoria Falls Resort in Zambia🇿🇲. As you open the glass door, aside from the charming dawn that surprises you, what instantly wakes you up is a giraffe munching on tree leaves🍂 awww, and there are also two zebras🦓, a herd of deer, lots of little monkeys🐒... Isn't this just like living inside a zoo!
🙊 Quietly, getting closer, they munch away, their little tails flicking back and forth, leisurely and comfortably... They are just too cute, indescribably exciting🥰
🙊 The animals here are not artificially fed; they live on over a hundred acres of land in the resort, where they can frolic to their heart's content, and their natural instincts are well protected.
🙊 In the distant African town of Livingstone, gather a few good friends, and have breakfast together while being watched by such a group of adorable animals, or enjoy an afternoon tea. Such days are simply delightful~~
Hotel Introduction:
The hotel is located next to Kumbirai Kako's Store, only 12km from Livingstone Airport.
The hotel has a beautiful environment, with a bright orange tone overall, as if you are in an oil painting, with African-style crafts everywhere, dazzling to the eyes. Here, every snapshot is a colorful and beautiful picture.
At the hotel entrance, there are musicians dressed in local indigenous clothing ready to perform for you at any time, and you can also wear their headgear for a photo. Afterward, remember to give a little tip.
Through the lobby, down the corridor, to the right is the dazzling blue of the swimming pool, to the left is the bright orange of the restaurant, both complementing each other in your field of vision. Behind the pool is the bar, with live performances in the evening.
Past a lawn, you'll find the hotel's arc-shaped buildings. Behind the hotel are lawns, forests, and rivers, a complete ecosystem for the little animals.
🌅 Nearby Attractions:
1️⃣ A few minutes' walk from the hotel's back door, you can reach the widest of the world's three largest waterfalls - Victoria Falls. Staying at this hotel allows free visits to the falls, with no limit on the number of times.
2️⃣ Indigenous Folk Village
3️⃣ Over 700-year-old Baobab Tree
4️⃣ Prime Art Gallery
5️⃣ Victoria Falls Snake Park
🍷 Nearby Cuisine:
✔️The Boma-Dinner&Drum Show (African cuisine)
✔️Makuwa-Kuwa Restaurant (African cuisine)

❗❗ Tips:
➡️ To protect the free life of the animals, hotel staff will remind you to keep a distance from the animals, not to touch them, and especially not to feed them, particularly when facing monkeys, to avoid being scratched.
➡️ When visiting the falls, consider changing into waterproof shoes or slippers, and wear a raincoat to avoid getting wet.
➡️ When leaving the hotel room, please close and lock the doors and windows, be careful of monkeys and baboons entering to steal things😝
Journey to Zambia (Part One)
Everyone says that when you go to Zambia, you must see the world-renowned Victoria Falls, so as not to make the trip in vain.
I joined a tour group at a travel agency in Lusaka, ready for a four-day, three-night trip to see the falls, but the agency suggested that three days and two nights would suffice.
We booked a three-day, two-night stay at the Avani Victoria Falls Resort.
We got up at 6:30 in the morning, had a quick breakfast, and left our place in Lusaka at 7:00 sharp to head to the Victoria Falls Resort.
The journey was over four hundred kilometers, with no highways. Along the way, there were particularly many clouds in the sky, and as we got closer to the Southern Province, the sky became more expansive and the clouds fewer.
We stopped twice along the way, resting for a while after every two hours of driving. Once at a gas station, we bought some food and took the opportunity to use the very clean restrooms. The second time, at a museum, we briefly visited, bought some wood carvings, used the restrooms, and then continued on our way.
By four in the afternoon, we finally arrived at the Victoria Falls Resort. As soon as we entered the resort, I was stunned by the scenery in front of me; it felt like entering a forest, the air was fantastic, the lobby was large, and two zebras were leisurely grazing by the pool.
The waiter took us to our room, (remember to prepare some Zambian change for tips) the room had a rich African style. I pulled back the curtains and saw three monkeys by my window, who soon jumped onto the trees.
After settling in, we walked to Victoria Falls, (staying at this hotel allows unlimited visits to the falls), chatting and laughing along the less than ten-minute walk, we arrived at the edge of the falls. We hadn't seen the falls yet, but the sound of the water was already loud in our ears. Walking and admiring along the way, what excited me the most was that we could see the rainbow up close, stretching from the bottom of the falls into the sky, indescribably dreamy.
As it was getting dark and we had children with us, we only admired a short section of the falls, agreeing to come back the next day to visit the bridge that marks the border between Zambia and Ethiopia. Unfortunately, this also became a regret, as we couldn't make it due to our itinerary. Perhaps, having regrets makes life more perfect!
For dinner, we ate by the hotel pool, accompanied by the evening breeze and music, a little patience was all it took to enjoy the delicious food.
Half-day tour in Zambia, Africa, visiting Victoria Falls, vendors selling gold nuggets on the street
Flashing Zambia, unlocking another African country.
At the border junction of Botswana and Zambia, spent 1000 Zambian Kwacha (about 375 RMB), took a taxi across the country to Livingstone Airport in Zambia to send people.
Took a car to tour the city of Livingstone, took photos and checked in Victoria Falls, located at the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. The taxi driver took us directly into the waterfall scenic area, and each gave him 10 US dollars (71 RMB).
British missionary and explorer David Livingstone, discovered this large waterfall for the first time as a white man during his journey in 1855, and named it after the name of the British queen. Victoria Falls was listed in the 'World Heritage List' in 1989. The city of Zambia where the waterfall is located is also named after this explorer, Livingstone.
There are many vendors selling tourist souvenirs to tourists. There are even gold nuggets, one for 500 Zambian Kwacha (about 187 RMB), three for 1200 Zambian Kwacha (about 450 RMB), and the price can be negotiated. The price is really cheap, but there is a high probability that it is fake, used to scam tourists.
You can also spend 150 US dollars (1071 RMB), take a helicopter to enjoy Victoria Falls in the air, but only for 15 minutes, the price is still relatively expensive, you can try if you have the opportunity.

Victoria Falls - Magical place for visit
Victoria Falls is part of the mighty Zambezi River, which forms the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. The waterfall straddles Zimbabwe to the west and Zambia to the east, and is easily accessed from either country via Victoria Falls Town in Zimbabwe or Livingstone in Zambia.
The good news is, no matter which side you stay on, you can easily cross the border to explore the other or to undertake activities like white-water rafting, gorge swinging, bungee jumping, visiting Livingstone Island or having dinner on an old-fashioned train. Your Africa Safari Expert will make all the arrangements for the transfers and activities – just have your passport ready for the border crossing!
With a combined width of 1 708 metres (5 604 feet) and height of 108 metres (354 feet), it is the largest waterfall on Earth. The Angel Falls in Venezuela is higher but not wider. It’s 1.5 times wider than and double the height of Niagara Falls with, unlike Niagara, scenic national parks on either side.
When Scottish explorer, Dr David Livingstone first laid eyes on the Falls in 1855, little did he know that it would be confirmed as the world’s largest waterfall, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world, and a World Heritage Site.
Little has changed since people discovered Mosi-oa-Tunya thousands of years ago – what you see now is the same astonishing view that awed Livingstone and everyone else lucky enough to see the Falls.

The most beautiful waterfall in the world: Victoria Falls.
In 2023, we can reunite with the world. Where should we go? Of course, it's to step into Africa.
Let's go and see the most beautiful waterfall in the world - Victoria Falls.
This is the widest waterfall in the world, located at the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. It is divided into five sections: the main falls, the devil's falls, the horseshoe falls, the rainbow falls, and the eastern falls.
My personal favorite is the Devil's Swimming Pool. You can see it during the sweating season every year!
Around it, there are many excellent hotels hiding, such as this Royal Livingstone.
The hotel is built entirely around a waterfall, with over 100 rooms. It is very integrated with the environment and you can see many animals, such as zebras.
In your lifetime, you must go once.
Travel checklist, experience the awe-inspiring thunder and mist.
🌈Victoria Falls, which means "the smoke that thunders" (Mosi-oa-Tunya) in the local Tonga language, is a white ribbon of water falling 108 meters from the Zambezi River, with a sound like thunder and mist like rain. The waterfall is located on the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, surrounded by strange mountains and waters: the basalt canyon twists and turns, with wild date palms and ivory palms growing on both sides of the riverbank, mahogany trees growing in clusters, and vines covering the small islands, like Medusa's hair.
🌟Travelers come straight to the waterfall, but besides that, you can also observe wild giants such as African elephants, baboons, rhinos, and hippos. You can also seek excitement by trying helicopter rides, bungee jumping, and rafting in the rapids below the waterfall. Brave (or reckless) people like to jump into the "Devil's Swimming Pool", where there is a natural rock wall at the bottom of the pool that can serve as an underwater barrier separating swimmers from the abyss.
🔥The Victoria Falls Bridge, which has a history of over 100 years, spans the second gorge of the waterfall, connecting Zambia and Zimbabwe, and is incredibly spectacular. Today, tourists can admire the waterfall from above or below the bridge.
SEE IT! You can approach the waterfall from both sides. Livingstone in Zambia is a popular base camp, and there are also beautiful views on the Zimbabwean side.
