Unesco 5A Lushan Mountain
Mount Lu is Unesco World Heritage, is one of the spiritual centers of Chinese civilization, located in Jiangxi Province, about 100 kilometers from the capital Nanchang and 20 kilometers south of Jiujiang City.
Mount Lu shows an unique combination of scenery, religions, education and culture: a blending of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Islam and Christianity, together with a beautiful natural landscape made of cliffs, sea of clouds, waterfalls, grottoes, rocks, cliff inscriptions and steles.
The national park covers an area of 500 square kilometers and has more than 90 mountain peaks. The main peak, Big Hanyang Peak (Dahanyang 大汉阳峰), is at 1474m asl.

Site of the Lushan Conference, Lu Mountain
the Site of the Lushan Conference (in Chinese 庐山会议会址) is building complex where the manin building hold photos and informations of the famous Lushan Conference.
In the entrance hall a golden statue of Chairman Mao Zedong surrounded by flowers welcome the visitors.
Next building hold an exhibition of the Lushan Anti-Japanese War Museum.
All of these is a short shuttle bus ride from Kuling Town

Lushan Religious Cultures Museum, Mount Lu
it is nice museum where you can learn about the religions that met in Lushan Mountain over his history.
The museum is located inside an old villa and the beautiful architectural style make this exhibition even more interesting!

Flower Path Garden, Lushan Mountain
the Flower Path Garden (in Chinese 花径) is famous because it is the place where the Tang Dynasty poet Bai Juyi wrote his great poem Ode to the Peach Flowers when he was wandering around here in a late spring and near Dalin Temple he was surprised to find the peach flowers were still in blossom, so he wrote the poem.
It is next to the Ruqin Lake. 2 hours visit

Brocade Valley, Lushan Mountain
Brocade Valley (in Chinese 锦绣谷) is a beautiful 1.5km long valley also called Jinxiu Valley, famous for steep and comely stone forest. The Grotto of Taoist Immortal also called Immortal’s Cave and Buddha Hand Cliff because it looks like a hand of Buddha, it is a natural cave in a precipice, with two springs.
Require at least 2h to walk all the way.

Grotto of Taoist Immortal, Lushan Mountain
Grotto of Taoist Immortal (仙人洞) is along the 1.5km long valley called Jinxiu Valley, famous for steep and comely stone forest. The Grotto of Taoist Immortal also called Immortal’s Cave and Buddha Hand Cliff because it looks like a hand of Buddha, it is a natural cave in a precipice, 7 meters high and 14 deep with a statue of Lu Dongbin. There are two springs inside it.

Lushan Stone Carving Museum, Mount Lu
it is nice museum that collect all the stone inscriptions left around the Lu mountain, and well organized by different theme.
The museum is located inside an old villa and the beautiful architectural style make this exhibition even more interesting!
As I can’t read Chinese I cannot read the inscriptions nore the notes, I wish they could add English notes.

Lushan Poetry Museum, Lushan Mountain
it is nice museum where you can learn about the poetry of Lushan Mountain. over his history many famous people visit the mountain and left inscriptions, beautiful poems, etc.
The museum is located inside an old villa and the architectural style make this exhibition even more interesting!
Here you can read some of these poems, to be honest is not easy for no Chinese readers to understand!
