#meetsingapore When I was young, my friends and I used to go Fantasy Island (A water theme park) at Sentosa. We had so much fun then. Thus, we felt a bit sad when we came to know that it will be closed down. Many years later, Adventure Cove was opened in Sentosa. I was excited about it. My wife who is my girlfriend then was going to celebrate her birthday soon. I knew she loves dolphins. So, I brought her to take photos with dolphins and later to the Adventure Cove Water Theme Park. There were quite a number of rides at the Park. We had great fun over here. I am not one who dares to take roller coast rides but I am still OK when it comes to thrill rides in water theme park.

We had so much fun swimming up and down with the waves. I love drifting on the Lazy River, but half of it was closed. Last time I could see sting rays. There were a lot of life guards to make sure everyone is safe. Do expect super long queues for those popular rides, but worth the time spending. There are Coral Reef which you can snorkel. Dolphin Island too, these are charged separately. It was a fairly small waterpark which some sections closed due to Covid restrictions, but we enjoyed our day there. Remember to take sandals, it was hot walking barefoot. The lockers were very well organized and convenient. Staffs were very helpful. #amusementpark Adventure Cove 8 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098269 Last weekend, we brought the kids out to Adventure Cove for some June Holidays fun! The rides we enjoyed the most were: Riptide Rocket, Rainbow Reef and the Wave Pool. Riptide Rocket is a unique ride which combines both the thrill of a roller coaster ride, but on water! Rainbow Reef is basically saltwater snorkelling. For the Wave Pool, get the kids to don on life jackets as the waves can get VERY high. Pro Tip: If you are able to, head down on weekdays if the park is open to avoid long queues during the holiday period. Alternatively, consider purchasing the express tickets if you and your family do not wish to endure long queues. Additionally, remember to make a reservation and purchase tickets online else entry might be denied.

Water play to beat the heat

Adventure Cove Waterpark is a water theme park in Sentosa which has many rides for both children and adults alike, from just relaxing and floating down the lazy river, to the adrenaline inducing slides and wave pool that stimulates the beach waves. My favourite will be the Rainbow Reef where you can swim with the colourful fishes, bringing back memories of my snorkelling experience overseas, and the Riptide Rocket with its thrilling plunges and slides. Facilities are quite clean, am gladvthat there are lockers for our belongings, and It will have been better if there are more and clearer signs to direct visitors to better navigate the park and the different attractions, instead of just maps. My friend and I had to keep asking the staff how to get to certain attractions. The staff however, are very friendly and helpful. They are currently open only from Friday to Sunday. While the opening hours are stated 10am-5pm, some of the rides are only available from 10am-1.30pm, and some from 2-5pm. If possible, go on Friday and enter in as soon as they open, and be prepared to stay the whole day. This is so that you can get to try all the rides, and perhaps even get to take some rides multiple times. Queues on weekends can go for up to 2-3 hours each time for a ride. The longest that I had waited for a ride so far on Friday was about 45 minutes, and to my friend, it was considered quite short. It was quite crowded even on a Friday, so I cannot imagine the weekends. On the whole, while I can only get to go once on all the rides, except for the wave pool, it was great fun trying out all the rides! Thank you Trip for the tickets! #amusementpark

Roller coaster 🎢 in a water theme park

Fancy a roller coaster in a water theme park while in a wetsuit? Adventure Cove is home to Southeast’s Asia’s first hydro-magnetic coaster, how exciting!! It was also the only ride there where you don’t have to carry your float and get seated into one and transported up 😂. On my cover page you can almost see the travelator. Over there you get onto a float and it brings you to the peak and started the adventure. I LOVE ROLLERCOASTERS and this was so fun. Every rides has their adrenaline but nothing beats the Riptide Rocket’s adrenalin. Note that due to the pandemic the rides does not operate all day so you will need to plan the day properly. Not all rides are applicable for the express pass too. You may have noticed I have really little photos and that’s because phones or any other hanging objects like your hats and glasses are not allowed on the rides. So we kept our phones and camera in the lockers for most of the times. #themepark

Floating Down The Lazy River

The best part of visiting a water theme park it’s definitely saving the hassle to bring and pump your own float 😂. Over here at Adventure Cove, floats are provided on first come first serve basis. So be sure to grab one before you head into the 640m long pool. The river brings you to around 14 different “themes” and surroundings. I even spotted stingrays and turtles! However probably due to the pandemic, the river is currently operating differently. Guests will not be able to experience the full river. Meaning there is a fix entrance and fix exit depending on the time of the day. It was a pity I missed some set up due to this. This also means that you may have to walk barefooted back to your origin. Or you may have to carry the float for half a park. However I do remember before the pandemic, there wasn’t such restrictions and you could just grab the float anywhere or float one whole round and get back to where your shoes are 😂. I mentioned a lot about shoes, as in slippers because the floor might be too hot for you 🥵. Lastly, if you didn’t get a chance to use the float, you could still wear a life jacket to enjoy the experience or just walk in the 90m tall pool ☺️. #themepark

Epic adventure river at Adventure Cove Park

The Adventure River, also known as the lazy river, is one of the coolest lazy rivers we’ve experienced! Of course you can expect the usual sitting in floats and gliding along the stream, but this lazy river actually has live sea creatures along its path. At one point, we floated through a tunnel where there were sea creatures swimming overhead above us. At another point, there were graceful stingrays frolicking right next to us in their enclosure. Heading into the cave, there were fishes in a beautiful display of treasures. Our only issue was that our floats got stuck at certain parts of the journey as the water flow wasn’t strong enough to push us along. Plus there is a need to queue for rides especially for Blue Water Bay wave pool as the waves occur on a fixed schedule. So after you enter for your turn, then you can play again because you have someone else in the queue. Yeah this is a lifehack to save time. Especially when you have younger kids who only can play in the wave pool and adventure river. Be sure to bring your own drinks otherwise it might be a little tough on your wallet.

Operating hour of 10am-5pm will be enough to cover all rides if you have the energy for it 🤣 express tickets are avail got riptide rocket, dueling racer and rainbow reef. Not very costly too. As of 2023, the wet maze and rope course is closed. Splashworks may or may not open take note ☺️ still have plenty of attractions tho! Food wise the wraps from one of the cart stores near blue water bay is good! And get a waterproof case for your phone for photos 😊 Highly recommended to visit! Bring sun block too 🤣

#singaporetrip One of the 2 big water parks in Singapore! Must visit! It’s always a fun time there! Went on weekends, the queue and crowds wasn’t too bad. Operating hour from 10am-5pm will be enough to cover all rides if you have the energy for it 🤣 express tickets are avail got riptide rocket, dueling racer and rainbow reef. Not very costly too. As of 2023, the wet maze and rope course is closed. Splashworks may or may not open take note ☺️ still have plenty of attractions tho! Food wise the wraps from one of the cart stores near blue water bay is good! And get a waterproof case for your phone for photos 😊 Highly recommended to visit! Bring sun block too 🤣
