Great Breakfast at Amari Johor Bahru 🍳

#malaysia Since we were staying at the Executive-level rooms, we can opt to have breakfast at either the lounge or at Amaya Food Gallery. The latter offers more variety of Asian cuisines. The food is a hearty mix of Malay, Western, Chinese and even Indian. There is also a noodle station here while eggs are made to order. Best part there was a female saxophonist who played some nice songs while we enjoyed our breakfast. That was really a nice touch. We can also have breakfast at the Executive Lounge. The breakfast spread here is not as extensive but you do get the main dishes such as nasi lemak, fruits, eggs, bread and salad. If you prefer peace and quiet, this is the place to be.

#malaysia Our stay at Amari Junior Suite comes with access to club benefits at the Executive Lounge. The Executive Lounge is situated on the 20th floor and you get : Breakfast from 6:30 to 10:30 Evening cocktails from 6 to 8pm (good enough as dinner option) Tea, juices and coffee from 1 to 5pm The Executive Lounge was cosy, not crowded and plenty of seating options. The evening cocktail served light foods, fried rice, breads, soup, desserts and good variety of soft drinks, tea and coffee. Overall, it was a nice luxury experience for me.

Amari Johor Bahru - Junior Suite 🎉

#hotelreview We were lucky that we got upgraded to the Junior Suites at Amari Johor Bahru. The room was bright, modern, spacious and clean and it was warm and cosy. It comes with Executive Club privileges, a working area, a private balcony and free Wi-Fi. I loved that the bathtub and shower area were within the "wet area" so if you have kids who loved to splash in the bathtub, they wont wet the whole bathroom. I really like the spacious bathroom especially when you have 2 kids or more! The pool is basic but it was good enough for my kids and take note that it closed at 7pm. The location is superb, just across Komtar and City Square Mall but you need to cross a road. Lots of restaurants, shops and there is even an indoor playground at Komtar. Hotel breakfast was great with a variety of local cuisines from chinese to malay to indian dishes. The teh tarik and nasi lemak was good! Do not miss the breakfast! The staff were splended. They were very polite and friendly and service is impeccable. Overall, we loved the short stay and the added touches of luxury.

Just walking to the spa in itself, the ambience was relaxing and service was excellent. Hotel guests have a 10% discount on all treatments and massages, a great chance to feel rejuvenated! This was my first time in this hotel. I loved everything abt this place. Amari hotel is just next to Suasana Iskandar condominium. There is a some restaurants and pubs located on the lower 2 level of the hotel. Hotel reception is located on the 6th floor and looks newly renovated. Staff was friendly and service was good. Room was pretty huge and nicely decor with the open view to city square mall and the causeway. While the price is generally affordable, it can be quite high during holidays due to the influx of Singaporeans and Malaysians from other states. Parking is easily accessible within the same building, and while you need to get a coupon before leaving the car park. 3D2N @ AMARI JB IS MIGHTY LIT..!!! 🔥🔥🔥

After the trip to LegoLand and KSL, the kiddos were invited by their grandparents to return to JB for another round of pure pamperness... Words of mouth circulated and soon fell on the grandparents ears mentioning that Amari JB was well worth the stay. Rooms were selling fast and we cant be picky due to the holiday season. Managed to book 2 rooms of twin beds with breakfast though. Off we go to another round of adventure...!!! Upon reaching the hotel, we were welcomed by a friendly staff and ushered us to level 6, main lobby, for check in. The lobby was quite spacious with fantastic christmas decorations. There's also welcome drinks for us to enjoy. The kiddos went to play at the kids room beside the check in counter. We asked for connecting rooms but the hotel was operating at its maximum capacity. Hence, we managed to get 2 rooms side by side on the 17th floor. When we reached our rooms, we were in awe by the layout and size of the room. It was relatively huge and cosy. Sadly, theres no bathtub.. ☹️ but that didnt hamper the kids spirits as they were intrigued by the wardrobe which could open on both sides. Being kids, they made the room into their own mini playground. After a short nap, we went to City Square Mall beside the hotel and spend the rest of the day there. Next morning, we went for hotel breakfast. I was astounded by the range of food and drinks that were offered. There's western and local delights from malay, chinese and indian cuisine. Each have their own distinctive tastes. Also, a freshly grown veggie corner by the hotel for us to savour. 🤤 Basically the rest of the days until checkout were just malls hopping i.e Paradigm Mall, Angsana Mall, Midvalley Southkey and KSL Mall for the kiddos to have fun at indoor playgrounds and kiddy rides while the adults did their shopping. Overall the Amari JB was a splendid and fantastic stay due to its location and the superb quality of the hotel i.e the rooms, breakfast and services. Short Gateway at Johor

went for a short gateway at johor bahru earlier this month and booked an one night hotel to rest at Amari Hotel. it was just a few minutes walk away from JB Sentral and it was easily accessible. the moment u exit Komtar JBCC from the back exit, you will see Amari Hotel! Although the room has almost everything from iron to cooker and so on, I would say the room was not as big as the photo taken... But overall, great stay!

Staycay @ Amari Johor Bahru

#staycation Amari Johor Bahru is not one of the newest hotel in Johor Bahru but they keep up the standards of a 5 star hotel with an excellent customer service! The room is clean and comfortable. You may see some mould in the room probably due to the hotel not being a new one, but that’s fine as it doesn’t affect us. Amari’s working desk size is actually quite big, I could put all my food that were being bought from KSL night market and still have plenty of space left. One thing to take note especially for those who are carrying luggages is that although Amari is located near to the custom, you may have to walk and cross over a road from Komtar mall. It is located opposite Komtar and not directly beside City Square.

Walking across from JBCC took only 2 mins. You can catch a midnight movie or sing your heart out in karaoke room in City Square, then slowly walk back to Amari JB. As we were celebrating our anniversary, we were given complimentary cake. Being a platinum member, we had access to club lounge. Evening canapes was fun for us, we ordered every cocktails available and were the last to leave the lounge. Definitely one of my choices when visiting Johor Bahru Travel wish for 2023. Weekend Getaway

Short getaway over the weekend at Amari. Service was great. Staff will greet you with smile. First time to this hotel so was surprised how huge the lobby and with that Christmas decor and vibe. Also have area if you need to work or play billiards and they do have kids corner room too. Location wise its right at the central so is very convenient to City Square and to other neighbouring cafes in town. #staycation #jb #hotel

Superior King Room Location: super convenience location right across JBCC! Near to many foods too! ( able to reach by feet, around 5-10mins walk) Service: front desk staff was superb, friendly and professional! However have super bad experience with the house keeping team. Requested for housekeeping to make up the room at around 11am before we head out, however when we are back to our room at around 5:30pm the room has not been makes up. Have the similar experience during 3rd day too! Cleanness: hotel lobby is clean. Same goes to the hotel room! Comfy & huge room at Amari Hotel Johor Bahru

Check in Amari hotel on 16th Oct 2022 and the reason for choosing this hotel is due to the convenience. It’s very near the JB custom and city square. I am attended by the friendly staffs at the hotel reception. The staffs greeted every guests walking in the hotel. You can really feel the sincerity and welcoming from them. Room was fantastic, it so spacious, neat and clean. great view from the room which is what I am asking for. Will definitely choose this hotel only if I am visiting JB.

We are impressed with how we were greeted from the moment we entered the hotel. All the ground staff are very friendly and warm as well as helpful. My previous stay here was when Amari JB just opened for business. I like their spacious lobby and lovely rooms. I recommend you take their rooms with pool facing views. You can choose from superior/deluxe/grand deluxe/executive rooms. They also have pool access rooms and there is no need to book any swimming pool time slots. So you may wish to consider this room type too. Both Amari JB and Suasana Suites JB are nearby so it is easy to use the traffic light crossing across JBCC to come here. If you are coming from Woodlands checkpoint and into Johor Iskandar checkpoint, you can even save on transport. I ate the Malaysian durian and various fruits that I had been thinking about, rode an off-road motorcycle, picked okra, drank honey, met an orange sunset, and had a wonderful BBQ camping, a small concert, and a very memorable fireworks night~ It is suitable for friends to get together and vacation. 🔷【Johor JDT Football Club】 The only Zoysia Grass Slope Stadium in Malaysia, the home stadium of JDT, the team that has won ten consecutive championships, "Southern Tigers", was fortunate to visit the super cool backstage. The stadium is magnificent and super beautiful. It is super fun to imitate the players' entry ceremony. The two super long Hummers at the entrance of the stadium are open to the public at regular intervals. There are also experiences like picking tropical fruits such as guava, and off-road vehicle rides are also a great experience. 2⃣️Johor Football Club: Going inside the stadium to understand the various preparations and rest spaces of athletes before the game is a very rare experience. Yes can see the oool but the opposite building (Suasana Suites) very near. The Executive Lounge serves all-day drinks and light snacks (1-9pm) and evening cocktails from 6pm to 8pm with canapes and wine/beer/mocktail 🍻🍷. The breakfast at Amaya has a huge variety of food choices with both Western and Asian dishes as well as desserts. There are also a lot of other facilities and amenities at Amari such as the swimming pool and Fit Centre at level 8, the Library and Social Room (with billiard 🎱 table).
