This is my favourite coffee spot in Krabi! I have visited multiple times during my trip to fix my craving for coffee ☕️ It’s located in an alley along the shopping street of Aonang Beach, just right beside McDonald’s. My go-to order was always their ice latte that’s very affordable and came in a huge cup! It was strong enough for me to get the kick. What’s even better is that the coffee bar is at beachfront so I could enjoy the sea breeze, listen to to waves 🌊 and watch the blue sea and sky while sipping my icy coffee. Ao Nang 🏝️ Amazing in Krabi,Thailand

Ao Nang beach is long and not crowded. The first 10m are fine shingle which then meets soft sand. The slope into the sea is very gentle indeed and the surf is only ankle deep. The beach is also the access point for Longboats taking tourists to other beaches and islands. They’re nice to look at but also give off strong petrol fumes when the wind is blowing onshore. the perfect sunset I have ever seen. and amazing snorkling. we have almost all time to spend sknorling and see so many beautiful fish. Great buffet at late afternoon, but I forgot to take photo then the night snorkling which we could see some bright fish. but we didn't get lucky, there was another tour of kayak, so they have so much light. and we see nothing for that night snorking the tour cost about 35$/person. but worth it I really wanted to join scuba diving. But we booked late, so no tour available. we decided to buy this tour at last minutes. only half day tour, but every single moment was perfect.

Tourists are back!!

Due to the pandemic, Ao nang had been quite and boring for almost 3 years. However, things are getting better and it's certain that this New Year will be super exciting and fun!! As I walked along Ao nang beach, I saw tourists waiting for sunset. Some of them went back from island happily. Many long-tailed boat were passing by and went back and forth to pick up tourists. It's incredible since I haven't seen this scene for long time. It's great the tourist are back!

Sunset x Christmas eve

#merrychristmas to everyone!! I spent 2 nights in Ao nang, Krabi to celebrate Christmas with my friends. The vibes have been better after the the pandemic; lots of tourists. The reopening of shops and restaurants increase good vibes and make everything more exciting. Before the nightlife, I saw the sunset at the beach and it's breathtaking! #bucketlistreboot Another beach destination in thailand but instead of your usual Phuket for sightseeing & beach, you should make a trip to Krabi because they offer the same but more peaceful adventure. We spend most of our days visiting and lounging in the beaches of Krabi specifically Ao nang beach which faces the Andaman sea. its so gorgeous cause the beach is surrounded by the rocky mountains. Krabi is a great location to visit if you're looking for halal food most of the street stalls along the main street are muslim owned. Do take note that it does get rainy and gloomy during august the start of the monsoon season so i'll avoid that months to fully enjoy your holiday!

Ao Nang Beach is pretty crowded and noisy because of the motor boats endlessly cruising along the coast. The beach is small and narrow, there are no sunbeds, like on other beaches, people sunbathe on rugs and towels. The water is a little dirty, so I wouldn’t go there just to swim or sunbathe. I visited the beach just because the boat to other islands was going from Ao Nang. Ao Nang is 20 minutes by car from Krabi Town. #beachlife

Yes, it can get crowded at times. And no, this is not the cleanest beach in Thailand. But when you're just looking for a lazy day, Ao Nang Beach is still my beach of choice. It's easy to access, there are plenty of restaurants and bars around, and the beach is big enough for you to be able to find a secluded spot. There are many shops alongside the street to the beach where its a heaven, plenty for shopping for souvenirs, food, drinks, music,massage and tailors stretching maybe a good 2Km or so. A definitely not to miss place. Very vibrant at night with the pubs and clubs and many street food stalls too. You can take a boat ride to the nearby islands or beaches too or just chill with a drink watching people and their activities. The beach and the water does not look inviting for swimming and didn't see anyone swimming too. Many types of public, private abd self hire transportations are available besides walking. Song Thaew is Thailand's one public transportation. From International or Domestic Arrival Hall, you need to get outside of the airport and walk to the main highway (approximately 10 minutes walk). I was sweating like a pig that time since I arrived in Krabi at past half 8 in the morning. I've waited like 10 to minutes before a Songthaew going to Ao Nang beach passed by. Since this was my first time in Krabi I'm not familiar with the place (literally). Through the help of the locals and Google Map, I arrived in iRest Seafront safe. I paid 50 baht for the entire trip and the travel time was 45 minutes with minimal stops. You may also consider a shared van transfer from Krabi International Airport to your hotel directly. Transfer per passenger is 150.00 baht whilst private car transfer starts at 500.00 baht for 3-4 passengers. WHERE TO STAY IN KRABI I usually look at my accommodation depends on my budget and how long I'll be staying. I stayed in iRest Seafront and I booked my bunk bed for 380.00 baht per night. Later on, I found out that I booked a simple, clean, and literally walking distance to Ao Nang Beach. [Krabi] Eat more than addiction, cheap seafood buffet recommended! In the 5 days of Krabi, although I have eaten seafood every day, I always feel that I am not addicted to eating. Inadvertently found this seafood buffet restaurant, called [TONG TALAY], the seafood is very fresh. Big head shrimp, crab, oysters & various shellfish are all available in unlimited quantities. There are also some seafood that I can't name, and there are really many kinds. There is a small stove at each table, and the seafood is baked. There is also a large processing table on the side of the restaurant, which is responsible for steaming crabs, opening oysters, grilled fish, and picking up seafood for yourself. Seafood is chilled and live. The live seafood must be placed in the ice bucket for 30 seconds before being processed. Otherwise it will be snarled on the stove, very scary. In addition to seafood, there are also cooked food, cold dishes, fruits, desserts and ice cream. Drinks are also available in unlimited quantities. Super love pays for snorkeling, naturally won't miss out on the four islands of the sea.
