What I liked about this hotel was the location - it’s so perfect to commute around Bangkok as the MRT station is right in front the hotel. The room was also comfortable and the shower was perfect. Hot/cold shower was powerful that I could use it to massage my back. Buddha and Palz is a cool cat jazz bar in the heart of Bangkok with a cool sophisticated vibe and changing jazz artists nightly. Friday night when we went had Nurse and her cool cats churning out 3 sets of jazz. Great cocktails and wine list plus some delicious food, the seating is intimate and vibe is chilled.

Roadside food

We went for a massage nearby Phrom Phong BTS Station and decided to walk around the food street stalls near the roadside. The entire long pathway are filled with the food stalls alongside the road. We bought their fruits and egg roti and they were both surprisingly good! The fruits were very fresh as well! We later chanced upon a chicken rice shop and decided to try it. The chicken rice did not fail us! We had a good experience eating here as it is just beside the road. Address: Pathway along the road near Phrom Phong BTS Station.

Hua Mum Market

We went for a impromptu trip to a night market in Bangkok and we didn’t regret it at all! As it was a last minute plan, by the time we reached there, not many stores are open and some food stalls are sold out. We then decided to walk around, and chance upon this pandan waffle!! We bought it to try and decided to go for more. It is extremely crispy and chewy at the same time! Eat it while it’s hot!

If anyone wants to eat Pak Mo noodles, you don't have to go as far as Paet Riew or Phanom Sarakham. There are also some on Nawamin Road 111. Go into the alley a bit. Sights and sounds of Bangkok

Bangkok is one of my go-to cities if I need a quick and short getaway to get some shopping and relaxing done. There are tons of shopping malls and things to buy, as well as endless options of massage outlets to get an affordable yet good massage. Most of the larger malls are clean and hygienic but many come here to try the street food as well. There have been reports of people falling sick especially after eating raw food so just need to take note of where you might be eating. Other than that, it is a nice city to visit. #BangkokTravel Today, I stopped by to find a book at B2S near my house, Central Rama 9 branch. I just noticed that the store has undergone a minor makeover, adding a new name to Think Space. The overall area looks more inviting to walk around and find things easily. The zones are clearly divided, including stationery, office supplies, and books separated by type, such as novels, magazines, and investment. There is also a corner for working or chatting.

Dog In Town.. amazing Dog Cafe

#passionpassport This is the first time I ever visited a dog cafe.. I am a real dog lover and I have had pets before, I wish I could have visited this wonderful dog cafe before. Apparently when I asked , the owner said it has been opened for 9 years.. wow I am so out of date. The Dog in Town cafe is located at Ekammai Soli 6. 16/1 Soi Ekkamai 6, Bangkok, Thailand 10110. It is quite easy to find as it about 5 minutes by taxi from Ekammai BTS station. The dogs are so friendly and forgoes, there are more than 10 dogs that you can cuddle or pet at any one time. The cafe charge 350 baht and included one drink. It is rather reasonable as to keep the animals happy and healthy is itself a great expense. All dogs are named after BTS stations, kind of fun as we are rather familiar with the stations names and the dogs responded accordingly.. what a afternoon.. I will definitely be back again soon..

There are also lots of eateries and serve as a transportation hub for many locals who travel out of town..

#passionpassport Yesterday morning, my friend craved for Big Breakfast, hence we decided to walk to the century mall at On nut BTS station and had our breakfast at The Coffee Club. In the last few years there are dozens of this restaurant sprung up in Thailand, and it seems to be popular with locals and tourist alike. The Coffee club On nut is situated right at the doorstep of Brs on nut and at the century mall. It is also on the ground floor of Avani Hotel and link to it through a walkway. The breakfast was excellent, they served excellent coffee and the breakfast menu is great. The price is on the high side but the quality is good. The ambiance is very nice and very elegantly renovated. Recommended ..

#passionpassport Bangkok China is getting busier and popular as ever. I was there last Saturday, I couldn’t imagine how many people are there.. it’s like stuck in the Songkran crowd.. unbelievable. Crowd just pulling in from all directions to this famous place where lots of great food is served either on the street ,(even dine with Michelin star street noodle) or in some of the very famous restaurant that serve Thai style Chinese Food.. incredibly affordable. After talking about Siam Paragon, I have to introduce other malls in the surrounding area of BTS SIAM. Siam Center is also a very well established mall right next to Siam Paragon. It has direct access to the mall through BTS exit as well. Siam Center and Siam Paragon share a common apa I’ll Ground where visitors or shoppers can relax at the open space and it’s where many concerts and celebrations are held. The exact address is at 979 Rama I Rd, Khwaeng Pathum Wan, Khet Pathum Wan, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon. The compete with Siam Paragon, it has to be unique and special. The design is very modern and chic.. The mall sell many local Designers Brand and the choices of Dinning are excellent. #passionpassport I arrived Bangkok for four days already, hardly go out, need a big rest after a hectic couple of weeks travelling. Today is my first day venture out from condo to search for food and run some errands at one of my favourite mall - The EMQuatier… simply the best. Since opening few years back, this mall has been very successful for a various of reason. First, the location. Sitting exactly beside the Phrom Phon BTS and the mall is rather high end but it still cater for all kind of society. This area is the gem of sukhumvit Road which is the premier shopping and residential hotspot for travellers and Thai alike.. EMQuatier itself is devised into 3 separate buildings linking to each other of pedestrian bridge that you hardly notice… So many wonderful food and shopping options here.. shop till you drop.LOL

LUXX Langsuan... going for a cozy staycation in the midst of 🌞

For this review, I'd like to invite those who are bored at home, tired of traffic, and want to be close to nature but don't have time to go far, to have a staycation and have some fun in the city. Luxx Hotel Langsuan is a wonderful hotel with a relaxed atmosphere that blends with the hustle and bustle of the city. Moreover, it's tucked away in a lane behind the central park, and just across the street is the VELA project. So, it's easy to find and get a delicious meal. The Luxx Hotel has six types of rooms, starting with two sizes of studios, three types of suites, and a penthouse. In this round, I stayed in a studio room, and as soon as I walked in, I felt the calmness of the room. The room has a wooden tone and an open-ceiling bathroom with a bathtub to enjoy the serene view of the lush greenery of the park. The room also has complete amenities, including two complimentary bottles of water. In addition to the restaurant that serves coffee and tea during the day, the hotel's central area also features a shaded swimming pool in the back garden for a comfortable swim or lounging while reading a book. The hotel also has several beautiful photo spots, so if you're driving here, be sure to keep an eye out as the sign might be a bit hard to spot. If you're feeling bored at home and want a comfortable place with a good atmosphere and a reasonable price, I recommend giving Luxx Hotel Langsuan a try. A Japanese restaurant in Hokkaido that feels like a Japanese home!

🎌👘A real Japanese Hokkaido restaurant in Sukhumvit 26. Pasta mixed with giant cheese in front of you and salmon roe on top is so delicious!! Hokkaido Restaurant Genshiyaki 🧀 ⛩This restaurant has a real Japanese feel. The owner is Japanese and when we entered the restaurant, all the staff greeted us very loudly. Everyone smiled and welcomed us very well. I was really impressed. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very suitable for socializing. 🍱🍣They have a wide variety of menus. There are many Japanese dishes, but we ordered a cheese pasta menu with salmon, salmon roe, and eggs for 499.- When it was served, they didn't just serve it. They brought the pasta to make it in front of us. The restaurant prepared a giant block of Grand Padano cheese and grated it for us to try first. It tasted a bit salty and had a fragrant smell like cheese. Then they took the prepared pasta and mixed it with the cheese. Mix it until the noodles were coated with cheese. Then scoop it into a hot pan, pour the cream on top, then add salmon, salmon roe and egg yolk on the pasta🍝 ✨The salmon is fresh and there's a lot of it. The taste of the pasta with creamy cheese is super delicious. When you eat it together and bite into the fish roe, you'll get a salty taste that bursts out and mixes with the cream cheese.
