In Bangkok, the most worthwhile expense...
In Bangkok, spending a small amount for a big experience is truly rewarding. The sky bar with an average cost of 100 per person is absolutely stunning. You can overlook the entire cityscape of Bangkok and enjoy the sunset. It's truly worth it, a must-visit during your Bangkok trip!
🥂 Bar: Moon Bar
📍 Address: 59th floor, Banyan Tree Bangkok Hotel
🈺 Hours: 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM
🎈 Tips
✔️ Walk up one floor via the spiral staircase from the 59th-floor reception, purchase an entry ticket for 800 THB per person, and use the ticket for consumption on the rooftop
✔️ The rooftop has separate areas for dining and the bar, offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, with non-alcoholic drinks typically around 380 per glass
✔️ Non-hotel guests are welcome, and the lobby staff will kindly guide you to the elevator
✔️ The entry ticket can only be used once, and if your order is less than the ticket value, no change is given; if it exceeds, you'll need to pay the difference, so be mindful when ordering!

Staying at Banyan Tree Bangkok
Last year, I had the pleasure of staying at the magnificent Banyan Tree Bangkok, and I must say, it was an experience beyond compare! From the moment I stepped foot into the hotel, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service that lasted throughout my entire stay. 😊
The hotel's luxurious ambiance and attention to detail truly set it apart. The moment I entered my room, I was captivated by the breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline. The room itself was spacious, elegantly furnished, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for. It was a true sanctuary in the bustling city of Bangkok.
One of the highlights of my stay was dining at the Vertigo rooftop restaurant. Perched on the 61st floor, the views were simply awe-inspiring. The delectable cuisine, combined with the attentive service and romantic atmosphere, made for an unforgettable dining experience. It was the perfect spot to unwind and indulge in culinary delights.
The Banyan Tree Spa was another heavenly retreat within the hotel. The tranquil ambiance, skilled therapists, and rejuvenating treatments left me feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. It was a true oasis of serenity amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.
The hotel's central location was also a major plus. With easy access to the city's major attractions and shopping districts, I was able to explore Bangkok with great convenience. The hotel's complimentary shuttle service to nearby attractions was a thoughtful touch that made my sightseeing adventures even more enjoyable.
Last but not least, I must commend the staff at Banyan Tree Bangkok for their exceptional hospitality. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. Their genuine warmth and dedication truly made me feel like a valued guest. 👏🤗

Staycation at Banyan Tree Bangkok❤️
The location is in the Central Business District of Bangkok.
Horizon Room is very good, large, clean and comfortable, equipped with large sofa in living area.
The working desk is large and comfortable.
Bathroon is tiny space, there is bathtub and shower.
The condition of some equipment such as bathtub was broken.
The fitness area is very large. There are a lot of equipments. The swimming pool on the 21st floor. Its size is quite small for swimming with a few persons.
Breakfast is served as a buffet with a limited of choice either Thai and Western style. The taste is acceptable. Breakfast area is too small comparing with the hotel size and amount of guest. So, the breakfast round has been separated into 3 rounds. In my opinion it is not fair to guest. The hotel should provide more breakfast area for the guest convinience.
The overall service in breakfast is acceptable. I have observed that the foreigners were serviced better than Thai guests. This is the worst point for me in this stay.
What a hospitality! Every employee is very friendly and helpful. They all look up when you pass by, smile and say something nice! We have felt very welcome. We had dinner at Vertigo on the 62nd floor. Wooooow what a view! As a free service, they took and printed a great photo of us! What a surprise! We had plans to go to a museum. Since their service is excellent and the view from our room (47th floor) and the pool (21st floor) is great too, we stayed in the hotel the whole time. We booked one night and loved every minute of it. Very highly recommended
Vertigo Rooftop is great service, lovely staff, great food and great atmosphere. It's great as I have been everytime.
Check in and check out process is slow.
Once again that I had observed the different between Thai and foreigners.
My favourite hotel experience in Thailand yet.
Special thank you to the team at Banyan Tree Bangkok for providing me with such a valuable experience.
What I liked:
The culture of exceptional service.
I especially would like to thank Khun Karn Duty manager for their kind words, help to practise the Thai language and attentiveness in welcoming me to the room. In addition, the kindness and grace of each staff member, from the reception staff to the doormen and staff at the pool, made me feel very welcome. Check-in was smooth, and the late check-out was much appreciated.

Punch Bangkok Bangkok Red Highest Hotel, Banyan Tree Bangkok!
Banyan Tree Bangkok, should be said to be the cheapest Banyan Tree in the world, and the location is also very good, only a few hundred meters from the nearest BTS station, there are a lot of night markets and restaurants around The hotel has been in operation since 1996. Although it looks like a whole history, it still maintains the high quality service of Banyan Tree. The check-in process is very fast. When you sit in the chair in the lobby, someone will come to help you. Handling , unlike other hotels, you dont need to stand and wait. At the time of check-in, if you are on wedding anniversary, birthday, etc., the hotel will send a small cake to the room after you know it in advance. Really super intimate ~
After you have handled it, the staff will personally bring the room introduction function. The hotel room is very spacious and comfortable. There is no extra charge when staying at the hotel except for the room rate. The breakfast is also very good. The concierge is also very good when you go out. You will be called a taxi for free. If it rains, they will help with the umbrella. They help to take a taxi and charge a meter. This is really hard to get in Bangkok.
Finally, the most important thing about this hotel is that it is the hotel with the highest floor in Bangkok, so I believe that many people are coming for the moon bar on the top floor. The night upstairs is very, very good, it is very suitable for taking pictures and taking pictures. You can enjoy the whole brightly lit Bangkok while enjoying. So be sure to bring your camera! !
Recommendation:
Come here to get the moon bar on the top floor,
The hotel's spa is also recommended,
In addition to the roof, there are super shops around the hotel, and a Michelin Samsung Blue Elephant Hotel must remember to check in. ~
personal recommendation, if you have the conditions, recommend the suite, you can enjoy breakfast, lounge and other services for free, and the room is too large, you can look in the room To the night scene! ! ~

The Sky Bar on the 61st floor of Banyan Tree Bangkok can overlook the city of Bangkok in 360 degrees. If you want to enjoy the beautiful sunset, you must come to the place in advance.
5:30 in the afternoon, the sun began to descend, I enjoyed the sunset while drinking, the sun's rays faded, the sunset was red, the billboard in the distance lit up, and the road formed an orange Light belt...
At this time, Bangkok is at night and nightlife is just beginning

Top Travel Hacks for Enjoying Bangkok’s Cityscape from Your Hotel
#travelhacks
Bangkok is a city that never fails to mesmerize with its dazzling skyline, a blend of historic temples and modern skyscrapers. For travelers eager to enjoy this magnificent cityscape without leaving the comfort of their hotel, here are some essential travel hacks to ensure you get the best view possible during your stay.
1. Choose Your Hotel Wisely
To get the most spectacular views of Bangkok, select a hotel known for its skyline vistas. Hotels in high-rise buildings near the Chao Phraya River or in the bustling Sukhumvit area often offer the best panoramic views. Research and request a room on a higher floor to maximize your viewing experience. Hotels like the Lebua at State Tower or the Banyan Tree Bangkok are renowned for their breathtaking cityscape views from their rooms and rooftop bars.
2. Book a Room with a View
When making your reservation, specifically ask for a room with a city view. Some hotels also offer corner rooms with expansive windows or rooms with balcony access, providing a broader perspective of the city. It’s worth contacting the hotel directly to express your preference and inquire about the rooms with the best views.
3. Visit Rooftop Bars and Restaurants
Even if your room doesn’t have the best view, you can still enjoy stunning cityscapes from the hotel’s rooftop bar or restaurant. These venues are designed to offer guests dramatic vistas while they dine or unwind. The Sky Bar at Lebua or the Vertigo and Moon Bar at Banyan Tree provide not just great drinks and food but also some of the most iconic views of Bangkok.
4. Timing is Everything
For photographers or anyone looking to capture the city’s beauty, timing can be crucial. Early morning offers a serene view of the city waking up, while dusk provides a magical backdrop with the skyline illuminated against the twilight. Check the time for sunrise and sunset during your stay and plan accordingly.
5. Utilize Hotel Amenities
Many luxury hotels in Bangkok offer amenities like observation decks or infinity pools that overlook the city. These can be great spots to relax and take in the view without the crowd often found in public spaces. Make sure to explore all the vantage points your hotel has to offer.

Bangkok's Sky Bar - Manhattan Vibes
Moon Bar, located on the 59th floor of the Banyan Tree Bangkok Hotel, operates from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
Reservations are required due to its popularity, so be prepared to wait if you don't book in advance. The great news is that you don't have to be a hotel guest to visit! There's no minimum spend, and it's a fantastic spot for taking stunning photos. Go for it!

Experience Stunning Sunsets at Bangkok's Moon Bar
Although I usually have no interest in rooftop bars, the sunset in Bangkok is too beautiful to resist! If you're in Bangkok to enjoy a stunning sunset, don't miss the Moon Bar on the 61st floor of Banyan Tree Bangkok. It's so close to the sky, offering an absolutely beautiful environment.
🍹 You can walk in for drinks without a reservation, but the restaurant on the same floor requires one.
🌞 To catch the sunset, it's best to arrive half an hour early to avoid the heat and enjoy the full view. Operating hours are from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM. However, if you want a front-row seat without obstructions, make sure to come early!

Bangkok's Best Observation Deck - Banyan Tree Moon Bar
If you're visiting Bangkok and looking for a great spot to view the city's skyline, consider the Moon Bar at the Banyan Tree Hotel. Unlike the Mahanakhon Skywalk, which charges around 200 baht for entry without drinks, the Moon Bar offers a more cost-effective option.
Open daily from 5 PM, it requires no entry fee but has a minimum spend. You can purchase a voucher for 800 baht per person, approximately 160 RMB, which allows you to enjoy two drinks. The voucher is non-refundable but can be used multiple times within a month if there's a remaining balance. The drink menu is extensive, and my partner and I used two vouchers to try four non-alcoholic cocktails, all of which were delightful.
The rooftop is cool and breezy in the evening, featuring a glass walkway perfect for photos. Compared to the Mahanakhon Skywalk, the Moon Bar attracts more Western visitors and offers a better atmosphere, with the added bonus of a view of the Mahanakhon building itself. I recommend arriving at the hotel lobby around 4:50 PM to secure a good spot, as it gets busy. If you're unsure of the location, simply navigate to the Banyan Tree Bangkok and ask the security staff for directions to the Moon Bar—they're very helpful!

Bangkok's Moon Bar: A 'Sex and the City' Experience
Moon Bar is one of Bangkok's renowned sky bars, known for its 'Sex and the City' vibe. Located on the rooftop of Banyan Tree Hotel, it offers a 360-degree view of Bangkok's nightscape, making it a worthwhile visit. No reservation is needed; just purchase a ticket upon arrival.
To get there, take a taxi to Banyan Tree Bangkok, 21 Tban on Sathon Tai, Bang Rak. If dropped off outside, walk through to the temporary parking lot, enter the lobby, and take the second elevator to the 59th floor. If you're not staying at the hotel, the entrance fee is 800 THB per person. Hotel guests can charge drinks and food to their room deposit.
Note that the entrance fee is non-refundable, and any shortfall must be paid. Drinks range from 400-700 THB per glass. We ordered four drinks and snacks, paying some extra cash. Payment can be made by credit card.
The bar operates from 5 PM to 1 AM. For photos, wear bright, flashy, or contrasting outfits. Dress code prohibits flip-flops and overly casual attire. The stairs between the 59th and 60th floors are narrow and steep, so it's advisable to bring flats along with heels. The drinks were average, and the snacks were reheated frozen items, not very tasty. The main attraction is the photo opportunity. The bar is on the left and the dining area on the right on the 60th floor, which requires separate dining orders. Note that Bangkok is currently in the rainy season, with sudden downpours.
We experienced rain during our visit and had to take shelter in the downstairs bar. Fortunately, the rain stopped by 10 PM, and we resumed our photo session. For the best shots, visit when the rooftop is less crowded. We had to rush downstairs when it started raining, even before finishing our drinks and snacks. Arrive early for the best window seats.

Bangkok's Overrated Rooftop Bar Experience
Moon Bar, known for its prime location offering panoramic city views, seems to rely on its setting rather than the quality of its drinks. The bar has a minimum spend policy, with prices starting at 800 THB for a drink and totaling around 1200-1400 THB per person for two drinks including service and tax.
Our group of three tried three signature cocktails, each disappointing. The Amore Negroni barely resembled a classic Negroni, lacking flavor and alcohol content. The other two drinks tasted like juice with alcohol, lacking creativity, though they were visually appealing. The ice used was ordinary crushed ice, not the clear blocks expected at this price point. While the night view is stunning and the dining area service is friendly, it is slow, taking 20-30 minutes to settle the bill, likely due to the crowd. The service did not match the price level.
Additionally, there is a dress code; I was required to wear shoes provided by the bar as I was in sandals. Upon leaving, my shoes were mixed up, and the staff was inattentive, diminishing the overall experience.

Bangkok Moon Bar Mini Guide
Visiting Bangkok in September during the off-season means fewer crowds. We scheduled our visit to Moon Bar on the second day, and it turned out to be the highlight of our trip.
🚩 Location: Take a Grab taxi to Banyan Tree Hotel. Once there, turn left at the entrance, then right at the front desk, and you'll see the elevator. Take it straight to the top floor, where staff will greet you.
💰 Price: The minimum spend is 800 baht per person, non-refundable. So, when ordering, use a calculator to ensure you get your money's worth. We initially feared ordering too much, but upon checking the bill, we had 400 baht left, so we packed some fries to go.
🍟 Taste: Our group of five ordered non-alcoholic drinks, each costing around 380 baht. We all found them too sour and quite average in taste. However, the main attraction is the photo opportunities, so taste isn't a big concern. You can bring your own drinks and snacks.
📷 Photo Spot: The glass bridge in the first picture is a popular spot, and you may need to queue, with each person getting one minute for photos. Staff will hold up a sign to indicate time. If you want a good spot and to watch the sunset, arrive by 5:30 PM.
I asked the hotel staff if guests get a discount, but the answer was no. Hotel guests can charge the cost to their room deposit instead of paying cash on the spot.

Bangkok's Moon Bar: A City at Your Feet
Bangkok's Moon Bar offers a cosmopolitan experience. Navigate to the Banyan Tree Hotel, head up to the 59th floor, and then take the small spiral staircase to reach the rooftop. The entrance fee is 800 Thai Baht (approximately 160 RMB), which includes a drink. It's a perfect spot for photos.
Since it gets dark early in Bangkok, it's recommended to visit around 6 PM to capture both the twilight and night views. The rooftop is cool, and the night scenery is stunning. To avoid queues, you can also take photos from the opposite staircase, which offers great shots. This dress perfectly matches the ambiance here, scoring a full 100 points for compatibility.

Experience Bangkok's Banyan Tree Moon Bar Like a Star
To reach the Moon Bar at Banyan Tree Bangkok, take a taxi to the hotel lobby where a guide will direct you. If no one is available, feel free to ask for directions. Once you find the elevator, head straight to the 59th floor. For sunset views, arrive between 4-5 PM. Another busy period is from 6-8 PM, so if you arrive between 8-9 PM, you might find no available seats. We arrived at 8:30 PM and were told there were no seats, with at least an hour wait. We opted to have dinner and returned at 9:30 PM to find seats available.
Be aware of the minimum spend policy. Previously, there was no minimum spend, but now they ask if you're staying at the hotel. Hotel guests are given priority entry without needing to provide room details. If you're not staying at the hotel, you can enter if there are available seats, but there's a minimum spend of 800 THB per person. For our group of three, it was 2400 THB. After confirming, you pay upfront and receive a wristband. The 2400 THB can be used for any orders, with no change given if you spend less, and additional charges if you exceed it. With the wristband, you can find a seat and order via QR code at the bar. Note that a 7% service charge applies.
For the best photo spots, head to the stairs on one side. If you can't find it, ask the security or staff, showing them a picture if needed. The photo spot has bright lighting, so dress up for great shots. We went spontaneously and looked like we were on a special mission!
Important: Men should avoid wearing tank tops and flip-flops, as entry will be denied. Previously, long pants were required, but now men can wear knee-length shorts. Just avoid flip-flops and tank tops!

Explore Bangkok's Famous Rooftop Bar: Moon Bar
Discover the globally renowned Moon Bar in Bangkok, located at 21, 100 S Sathon Rd, Thung Maha Mek, Sathon, Bangkok 10120. With a minimum spend of 800 THB per person, which can be used towards food and drinks, this spot offers great value. Drinks typically range from 300-400 THB.
We ordered two drinks and two snacks, and only paid an additional 30 RMB, making it a cost-effective choice! While the view might remind you of Chongqing, it's much more affordable than the 200 RMB just for the view at Chongqing's WFC, which doesn't include any food or drinks. Bangkok's nightscape offers a unique vibe compared to Chongqing. The bar is divided into a dining area and a drinking area, so be sure to specify your preference to avoid ending up in the wrong section like we did. The staff are very accommodating, helping you find the best spot for the view and even assisting with photos.
Note that there's a queue for photos at the popular bridge, but it's manageable. Tips: Men are not allowed to wear slippers or sandals, but the hotel provides shoes if needed. #BangkokTravel #Bangkok #ThailandTravel

Bangkok's Most Beautiful Sunset | MoonBar
If you arrive in Bangkok in the afternoon, the first stop you must visit is the MoonBar for its stunning sunset and night views. The sunset truly understands our romantic desires. Bangkok is such a fun place!
The last time I visited the Jellyfish Rooftop Bar, it was way too crowded.
Later, I discovered this place, which wasn't too crowded to take photos and was quite comfortable to sit in. It's relatively quiet, and the view is absolutely stunning. I really love it, my friends. This time, I went with a client, who also became a close friend.
So, it's important to find a local guide who makes you feel comfortable.

Capture Stunning Photos at Banyan Tree Bangkok's Moon Bar for Just 800 Baht
After comparing several sky bars in Bangkok, I found the Moon Bar on the 61st floor of Banyan Tree Bangkok to be the best. It was definitely worth the money spent, as I captured some of the best photos of my life.
~ Banyan Tree Bangkok Sky Bar ~
Transportation🚇: 800 meters from Lumphini Station on the MRT line
~ Ticket🎫: 800 Baht per person (redeemable for bar consumption)
~ Opening Hours⏱️: 17:00~0:00
~
1⃣ Enter through the hotel lobby, take the elevator to the 59th floor, pay 800 Baht per person at the front desk (payment via WeChat or Alipay is accepted), and receive a ticket. Then, take the stairs to the 61st floor to reach the sky bar.
2⃣ This sky bar is very popular, especially on weekends. It is recommended to arrive by 5 PM. I once arrived at 6 PM on a weekend and there were no seats available. Arriving early allows you to choose your seat and enjoy the stunning views of the daytime, sunset, and night.
3⃣ Scan the QR code on the table to view the menu, which includes both drinks and food. The ticket can be used to offset costs up to 800 Baht, with any excess requiring additional payment. There is a 10% service charge and a 7% consumption tax. If you're just there for photos, you can order two cocktails🍸, which are beautifully presented. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options are available, with non-alcoholic drinks being cheaper at 300~400 Baht. The 800 Baht ticket must be used in one go, and any unused portion cannot be carried over.
4⃣ The second photo spot is the most popular, with a light placed opposite the standing area for great lighting. If you're alone, staff will help take your photo. During busy times, photo-taking is limited to one minute per person, but you can queue again if needed.
