New coffee shop in Batu - Drink Hooo Kopitiam
Nasi lemak + otak, rm7.90
The otak is delicious. Although the rice tastes good, the coconut milk flavor is not strong enough. The sambal is okay, but a bit spicy
One half-cooked egg, rm1.70, perfect😍😍😍
Kung Pao fish fillet rice, rm10.90 (rm11.14 is after tax)
The fish fillet is smooth, well seasoned, and there is a poached egg on top
The decoration looks neat and beautiful
But it’s a bit noisy inside, and it seems to echo
Parking space is easy to find

A beautiful temple in Batu Pahat, Johor
#malaysia
Jian Nan Si Temple is a Taoist temple situated in Jalan Bukit Pasir, Batu Pahat, Johor. The temple is beautiful, quaint and tranquil, it's dedicated to Nezha(a protection deity in Chinese folk religion) as its main deity.
I'd been there several times with my family members for worshipping, I am so impressed by its majestic structure, the elaborate pillar carvings, intricated embellishments on the beams, plus the exquisite sculptures & colourful ornaments on the rooftop.

Xiang Quan Bak Kut Teh
Bak Kut Teh in Batu Pahat
But it is also a zi char restaurant
There are many kinds of food
There are white rice and taro rice (black rice)
Claypot fish soup is also a signature dish. The small one is RM62, enough for three to four people to share
The braised pork buns are small and cute. One is RM4.80. I like it very much 😍😍 (at least two small braised pork buns are sold)
The water spinach is placed in the clay pot, which is very flavorful
This restaurant is really good at using clay pots
Bak Kut Teh is in the clay pot. Fish soup and water spinach are also in the clay pot
