From Yangquan to Shijiazhuang - Loyalty in Cang Mountain, Zhao's Orphan, Late Autumn in Taihang After several days of heavy smog, the air finally cleared up a bit over the weekend. Since the Shijiazhuang Huimin Tourism Card includes Cang Mountain in Yu County, Yangquan, Shanxi, I felt like I would miss out if I didn't go, so I drove for nearly two hours to the entrance of Cang Mountain, where the air quality seemed better. Cang Mountain doesn't have much to offer besides its historical stories, but it's a good place to exercise and fulfill a wish. It has a long history and rich culture, but despite being a weekend, there weren't many tourists, probably because it's located between Shijiazhuang and Taiyuan, making it inconvenient to reach from either side.

Yangquan City, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Shanxi Province. It was known as 'Yangquan' in ancient times, and is also known as Mountain City, the first city of the Chinese Communist Party, and the third largest city in Shanxi Province. Yangquan City is located in the central and eastern part of Shanxi Province, adjacent to Xinzhou City in the north, across the Taihang Mountains from Shijiazhuang City in the east, adjacent to Taiyuan City in the west, and Jinzhong City in the south. It is located on the eastern edge of the Loess Plateau and belongs to the eastern mountainous area of Shanxi. There are the ninth gate of the Great Wall, the Niu Zi Guan, and the Zangshan tourist area. There are also Guanshan Academy, Shi Pingmei's former residence, and Liangjiazhai Hot Spring. There is also the Lion Brain Mountain Forest Park, which is mainly composed of the Hundred Regiments Battle Memorial Buildings. Not only that, but what is particularly worth mentioning is that since the 1980s, Yangquan has used its coal resources to achieve rapid economic development. Leading the way among all cities in Shanxi, it is known as 'Little Shanghai'.
