Bringing Taiwan Food closer to you! 🤩
#sgfoodies
Taiwan street food night market is open at Cineleisure Orchard recently! It is located at basement 1. The layout of the night market is more towards food court style where there are vendors and dining-in areas.
We found a great different variety of Taiwan food and snacks here which includes sweet potato ball, beef cubes, crepe, grilled mushroom, pan fried dumpling and more.
If you have Taiwan food cravings and will not be visiting Taiwan soon, you can consider visiting this night market to satisfy your cravings! Do get mentally prepared that you will have to pay more here than in Taiwan.

Night Market In SG
#mysgmemories
Just a few months ago, a Taiwanese themed food court launched in Singapore. There were very long queues for it. Now that the crowd had subside we decided to give it a try. Thinking it was a “night market” we entered the place at about 8:30pm and half the stores was closing. So be sure to go at normal dining hours 😂.
We ordered typical Taiwanese street side dishes such as oyster Mee sua, oyster fried egg, thick meat soup and bubble tea.
Will I come here again? Unlikely not because it’s not good but it’s really snack food. So I’ll have to spend a lot to be full 😅.

Secret food Memories
#mysgmemories
Address - 8 Grange Rd, Singapore 239695
Ambiance / Highlights - Secret Ingredient Booth
Rating - 4/5
When my hubby and I walked towards the cineleisure mall, we saw the secret ingredient exhibition. It reminds me of my younger days when my mother taught me how to cook. One of these best cooked dishes is chicken rice. I still remember the days she will bring me to the market and taught me how to choose the best chicken to cook for the chicken rice. In the past, my late grand parents will go to the market and buy fish meat to make fresh yong tau fu during our gatherings and festive season. Now we will buy them from the market to save time and the hassle of turning the fish meat into Yong Tau fu meat. Walking through the exhibition did bring me back to my younger days. I will cherish those memories and share them with my future generations.

Singapore has brought in a Taiwan Street Food Festival and it is located in Orchard Cineleisure.
The festival has a wide variety of Taiwan night market’s street food such as scallion pancake, Taiwanese sausage with sticky rice, beef cubes and etc.
You can order your food and dine-in or takeaway too!
Do note that if you compare the food prices here to taiwan price, it will definitely be a lot more pricier.

There is a newly opened food court at basement 1 of Cineleisure Orchard that sells Taiwan night market food and drinks. I love the ambience of the place, there’s lots of bright lights everywhere, and the decoration is so colorful and eye catching. It’s like a modern night market with air conditioning. Some of food highlights which I recommend are the oyster mee sua, the peanut crunchy candy roll with ice cream, and the sweet potato balls! When in orchard, drop by and visit! Highly recommended!

Gudsht - cool bar/restaurant
Gudsht is a really cool bar/restaurant located at cineleisure, orchard. GudSht is a label born out of a pandemic. Tried the premium bento set, which is approximately $18.90/set. you can choose two skewers (premium meat) and one vegetable skewer. the bento set also comes with two other sides (crispy chicken karage - this was rly good btw!) and potato salad. for the skewers, it’s highly recommended to get the mentaiko scallop. the sauce was really good (not too much mayo, and sweetness was just right). unagi was really good too! these cost about $5 ala carte (if you wanna purchase more).
at night, Gudsht also operates as a bar - where you can find an extensive range of Spirits, Wines, Beers, Bottled Cocktails and Chu-Hi. the interior design is really cool and gives off this really relaxing vibes, so it’s a nice place to chill with your friends here!
average cost per pax is $20+.

It has been quite some time since my hubby and I went to the cineleisure mall. We got a shock when we arrived there. Most of the shops has changed. The basement food centre has now transformed into the Taiwan night market. There were many authentic Taiwanese foods available. Such as the minced pork rice, mee sua, fried chicken cutlets. They are all our favorites. We sat down and ordered some food from the various stalls to enjoy. People who love Taiwanese food can consider visiting this Taiwan night market.

Tasty beef patties - from 1952
Was looking for a place for a quick meal before my show at Cineleisure - entered and saw this place fatburger.
Due to its retro interior design, which made things instagrammable, went to try it.
Prices were reasonable and they have the 4 patties challenge too. Do try it if you are keen for some real burgers.

Menbaka Fire Ramen 🔥
When Menbaka Fire Ramen restaurant first opened its doors of their first and only international outlet right here in Singapore, I was overjoyed. Often had I heard about its popularity in Kyoto, where diners sat around the counter in anticipation, with their bowls lit up in big flames 🔥 and their eyes wide open in amazement 👀
Recently, I learnt about the restaurant launching a $9.90 Fiery Express meal for each day’s first 100 customers, paving the way for my second lunch visit! Ordering my favourite item on the menu, the Signature Shoyu Fire Ramen (with pork), I was soon ushered to the familiar front-row counter seat for a great view of the proceedings to come - the bowls of ramen are first piled with abundant green onions, before one of the staff makes his grand entrance with a gloved arm pouring a pot of burning onion oil into the bowls, creating tall dramatic flames that make for a spectacular fire show 😍😍😍
Not only did pouring the burning oil into the ramen enhance its overall visuals, but it also helped to bring out the aroma and flavour of the green onions, resulting in a far more savoury ramen taste 🍜😋😋😋
