The hotel is situated in the heart of the Central Business District on Sathon Road, just a 10-minute stroll from Lumphine MRT.
-Surrounded by lush trees and plants, the hotel boasts a remarkably spacious lobby with a contemporary ambiance.
-The rooms are generously sized, featuring a comfortable sofa bed that provides a perfect spot to unwind after a long day of exploring.
-The room amenities are superb, including a Nespresso coffee machine and luxurious hair and body products in the bathroom.I particularly appreciate the well-designed bathroom, offering both style and comfort.

-The breakfast experience is delightful, with the option to order a main dish while choosing additional items from buffet menu.
-The hotel's services are exemplary, with friendly and attentive staff ranging from the doorman to the housekeeping team.

Never the top stream in Bangkok, but the ceiling of hotel aesthetics.
Never the top stream in Bangkok, but the ceiling of hotel aesthetics.
Once I brought a young creative to stay at COMO Metropolitan, but later he said he preferred The Ascott. That's why I haven't recommended COMO on social media in recent years. One reason is that I have a hidden agenda, and the other is that unpopular opinions are often met with resistance.
When it comes to the COMO hotel, it is impossible not to mention its owner, Christina Ong. The name COMO comes from the initials of Christina and her eldest daughter Melissa, and the wealthy Singaporean heiress founded this hotel brand to showcase her life aesthetics to the world. Metropolitan is its urban hotel series, while the more high-end one is the resort hotel COMO, which is the one chosen by Tony Leung and Carina Lau for their wedding.
So the biggest difference between the COMO series and other luxury brand hotels may be that the birth of COMO is not closely related to making money, but more like an ambitious education of old money aesthetics. It is said that on Bali, the Four Seasons is owned by Christina's husband, but she still established her own COMO hotel on the island and won the applause of the audience that is no less than Four Seasons.
Returning to the COMO Metropolitan in Bangkok, this hotel opened in 2003 and is no longer young. The elevator is probably the smallest size I have ever stayed in all hotels, and the restaurant and bar are relatively small. But even today, its consistent extraordinary aesthetics make it my first choice for staying in Bangkok. Christina, the female host, is a symbol and manager throughout, and she turns COMO Metropolitan Bangkok into a low-key and simple private residence, carefully managed, calm and confident. As a visitor, I deeply fell in love with the Eastern-style furnishings, the restrained and clean lighting, the polished teak floors, and the high-quality living supplies that are not priced.
Actually, in recent years, luxury hotels in Bangkok have repeatedly refreshed their prices and facilities, from Park Hyatt to Rosewood to Capella, and they are all incredibly beautiful. But compared to the unparalleled delicacy that fills the eyes, as someone with a vacation mindset, I may need the rare relaxation that COMO creates more. I am willing to walk into a hidden alley, pass by a tree full of flowers, and see the faint light of COMO waiting for me, instead of having to go through a jazz bar full of guests and fragrance before returning to my room.
But COMO has its own pride, although it has long been out of the first or even second tier of Bangkok hotels, the hotel still has its own "Asia TOP 50 restaurant", and its yoga classes and fragrance products have a high status among professionals. Once I chatted with COMO's PR manager (a friend of a friend), and I asked why I rarely saw COMO's social media promotion. The other party immediately replied: "Dear, even if it's Leo, you still need to book your own room."
She said Leonardo DiCaprio.
